* ShoutOut: To a lot of Beatem up's but Streets of Rage comparisons can be found the most. Freddy having similarities to Axel, Both Chica and Roxanne bringing mind to Blaze while Monty can be compared to Max. This even extends to some of the enemies such as the VR Sisters being very similar to Mona and Lisa, Mega Brow possibly being based on R Bear and Thug Chica obviously referencing Big Ben.

* AmbiguouslyHuman: The VR Sisters appear to be just a bunch of girls with VR-goggles on. But they also have inhuman skin-colors and seem to have circuitry running through their bodies, which suggests they might be androids.

* DifficultButAwesome: Glamrock Chica. She makes up for her low power with a ''beastly'' special and a jump kick that can knock down enemies with one hit. The jump kick also moves her high, far, and fast, letting her really fly (pun fully intended) across the stage, which can get you in a good position to kick incoming enemies in the face or out of a bad position. If you use her special with confidence you'll mow through enemies quick enough to pick up a reasonable amount of healing items to replenish said special's uses.
