Some character tropes for Ori.

Added DiffLines:

* FragileSpeedster: Ori starts the game as this, the game's default run speed is pretty damn fast, but you're only able to take one or two hits before kicking the bucket. After a few upgrades though, Ori becomes a LightningBruiser, below.

Added DiffLines:

* LightningBruiser: Ori, once you collect all the powers, abilities, and HeartContainers, becomes ''disgustingly'' agile, and relatively hard to kill.

Added DiffLines:

* ArcWords: "She hated our light" is said a few times by Sein and the Father Tree in regards to why Kuro attacked the Father Tree and comes across as a typical example of DarkIsEvil. It is only after the revelation of [[spoiler: her children being incinerated by the Father Tree's light]] that the full significance becomes apparent.

Amidst a violent storm, Ori, a young forest spirit is torn free from the mystical tree that fathered it. The turbulent winds blow it deep into the dark forest, to where it is finally rediscovered by the motherly Naru. Life for the spirit and their new family is good... until one night, when the tree finally calls out for its lost child, inadvertently setting in motion a terrible chain of events that threatens to destroy the forest and all of the life it contains.

First off, I appreciate the rewrite to the opening, I really do, I wasn\'t happy with it. Second, I reworded the start a little because it sounded too voluntary. Third, I readded a (less spoil-y) mention of Kuro, as she\'s a major player and we don\'t have a Character page to introduce her to a reader.

So begins '''Ori and the Blind Forest''', Moon Studios' debut game, a 2015 {{Metroidvania}} for the X-Box One and PC. The player controls Ori, a small foxlike creature seemingly made out of light, who is later joined by Sein, an even smaller orb of light that can unlock doors and unleash powerful energy blasts. You missed one \'her\'. Also, reworded - the donwide of using \'they\' as a singular pronoun is that it causes terrible ambiguity. Is it Ori\'s journey, or the both of them? Also, s\'funny - at least one of the other forest spirits is identified as female -and- having a brother.

I didn\'t like the existing premise description much, because it spoilt Naru\'s death and Kuro\'s involvement, which are meant to be surprises (despite the trailer kind of spoiling them, ugh). I\'ve published an alternative, but if someone thinks the old description was better, feel free to revert. I picked a new quote too, because the old one felt like it went against the game\'s motif of \"there is always hope\". The new quote I think encapsulates the single event which ties the entire plot together, yet comes off as inoccuous to someone who hasn\'t played the game, and therefore spoils nothing. Plus it sounds cool.

After a terrible storm, a forest creature called Naru finds and adopts Ori, a lost forest spirit. But soon after the sky becomes alight, the forest begins to die. Orphaned once more, Ori sets out to resurrect the slain Spirit Tree, divine protector of the Nibel Forest and her father.

Ori\'s gender is unknown, so all of the instances where they were referred to as \'she\' I changed. The source of the confusion is the line \"We told Ori of her misguided will\" when you find the spirit tree for the first time, but the \'her\' in this case is actually refering to Kuro, not Ori. In an AMA on Reddit, the devs said Ori\'s gender is, strictly speaking, up to interpretation. I think this article then should keep Ori gender neutral. Fixed up some wording in the tropes as well, and noted another example under \'Bottomless Pit\'. I removed Nonindictative Name, because that entry was untrue (Sein introduces themselves as \'the eyes of the spirit tree\' - the forest is blind because the eyes were ripped out by Kuro).

woof, finally presentable.

--> Yet hope never came.

So begins '''Ori and the Blind Forest''', Moon Studios' debut game, a 2015 {{Metroidvania}} for the X-Box One and PC. The player controls Ori, a small foxlike creature seemingly made out of light, and is later joined by Siel, an even smaller orb of light that can unlock doors and unleash powerful energy blasts. Together, they will brave [[EverythingTryingToKillYou murderous wildlife]], [[MalevolentArchitecture dangerous environments]], as well as Kuro, the utterly massive black bird that is out to finish what she started.

----
!!Tropes appearing in Ori and the Blind Forest:

* AdultFear: Naru hurrying Ori into a cave when the sky is alight. [[spoiler: And even more heartbreaking, Kuro hurrying back to her nest to protect her children from the same. She doesn't make it.]]
