It wasn't later that Dr. Wily realized such a robot's potential could work well in his favor. Now, Trance has fallen under the control of Dr. Wily, and has recruited four Robot Masters to take over the world. They are threatening to destroy all major cities across the globe by sunrise if the world governments do not surrender. So it's up to Mega Man to take on this latest threat.

''Mega Man Sunrise'' is a fan-made Gameboy-styled ''VideoGame/MegaManClassic'' game created by DJ Coco in 2016

Some time in 20XX, Dr. Light had been researching new AI technology. His discoveries would find use in a new robot he was creating. Codenamed "Trance", she would've meant a breakthrough in terms of robot intelligence once complete. However, Dr. Wily feared the consequences of this project, so he brought it to an early end, destroying Trance.

Robot Masters:
* '''Vine Man''': Weak to '''Kunai Blade''', semi-weak to '''Scorch Smelter''', and gives '''Vine Whip'''.
* '''Scorch Man''': Weak to '''Valve Missile''', semi-weak to '''Circuit Breaker''', and gives '''Scorch Smelter'''.
* '''Circuit Man''': Weak to '''Scorch Smelter''', semi-weak to '''Valve Missile''', and gives '''Circuit Breaker'''.
* '''Valve Man''': Weak to '''Haze Shield''', semi-weak to '''Vine Whip''', and gives '''Valve Missle'''.
* '''Kunai Man''': Weak to '''Mirage Bomb''', semi-weak to '''Haze Shield''', and gives '''Kunai Blade'''.
* '''Sound Man''': Weak to '''Circuit Breaker''', semi-weak to '''Kunai Blade''', and gives '''Sound Dash'''.
* '''Mirage Man''': Weak to '''Sound Dash''', semi-weak to '''Mirage Bomb''', and gives '''Mirage Bomb'''.
* '''Haze Man''': Weak to '''Vine Whip''', semi-weak to '''Sound Dash''', and gives '''Haze Shield'''.

!!''Mega Man Sunrise'' provides examples of:

* AirborneMook: The Elec'ns and Tellies to name a few.
* ArmorPiercing: The Vine Whip can pierce through enemy guards.
* BarrierWarrior: Haze Man with his Haze Shield. Though, for the most the fight, he attempts to ram into you.
* BossRush: Present and accounted for, as according to series tradition.
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: Trance. [[spoiler: She breaks out of it after Mega Man defeats her. However, she still has Dr. Wily's code in her, and is still on the crazy side.]]
* CartoonBomb: The Mirage Bomb. See the TimeBomb entry for more details.will sit on the ground until an enemy walks into it, the player remotely deontates it, or the time-limit runs out.
* DoppelgangerAttack: Mirage Man can create mirage doppelgangers during his battle.
* EmergencyEnergyTank: As with other Mega Man titles, using this refills his life energy to max. M-tanks do the same, but with the added benefit of restoring all his weapon energies. Both of these can be found in the stages.
* ExcusePlot: As convention in most Mega Man titles.
* HomingProjectile: The Valve Missile. It works similarly to the [[Dive Missile]](http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/VideoGame/MegaMan4).
* GreenThumb: Vine Man, with his ability to create thorny vines and create plantlife. Mega Man also gains this ability once he obtains the Vine Whip.
* KnifeNut: Kunai Man, thanks to his large supply of Kunai Blades.
* LavaPit: Lava flows and molten metal are present in Scorch Man's stage.
* LightningGun: The Circuit Breaker fires a small ball of electricity forward that will travel on walls and stun any enemy it hits.
* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: The Haze Shield creates four indestructible small clouds that will slowly orbit around Mega Man, absorb almost any projectiles that come into contact with them, and damage any enemies that they strike. They can also be fired out. Be wary of the fact that shots can still go through the shield if they don't impact one of the clouds.
* PlayingWithFire: Flare Man's attacks involve him using fire. Mega Man can use the Scorch Smelter to fire a slow-moving large fireball that travels through non-shielded enemies.
* StaticStunGun: The Circuit Breaker projectiles can stun enemies.
* SuspiciousVideoGameGenerosity: There are a bunch of life and weapon energy pickups just before the BossRush teleporter room in the third Wily Fortress stage.
* TimeBomb: The Mirage Bomb. It has the highest single target damage out of any weapon in this game. If the bomb hits an enemy, it will instantly explode. Otherwise, it can be remotely detonated, or it will self-destruct after enough time has passed.
* UnblockableAttack: As long as the Trance Wrecker hits the ground, it will deal 1 damage to all foes on screen.
* VideoGameDashing: The Haze Dash is an airdash that not only allows Mega Man to dash forward, but also grants him temporary invulnerability to enemies.
* VideoGameSettings
** BubblyClouds: Haze Man's stage, which takes place in the sky and an airport facility.

* VillainExitStageLeft: [[spoiler: Dr. Wily escapes after Mega Man defeats him.]]
* WallCrawl: The Circuit Breaker projectiles will scale walls and ceilings.
* WeaksauceWeakness: Mirage Man is primarily weak to the Sound Dash of all things. In fact, he's the only Robot Master in the game who's semi-weak to his own weapon.
