Looking at things futher, because there is no evidence of Nera having feelings for Crispin that were overwritten, this trope no longer applies.

* BecauseDestinySaysSo: Nera speculates this is why she fell in love with the main character. If you marry her, in the party chat, a conversation after the wedding features her admitting that even though she always knew Crispin had feelings for her, something drew her to the Hero when she first saw him.

** Speaking of stats, let's talk about the three brides. After the wedding, Bianca retains the level she had when you last saw her, Nera starts off at Level 8 and favoring magic, and Debora starts off at Level 10 and favoring physical stats. These stats all make sense when you consider each woman's life prior to the wedding. Bianca hasn't been on an adventure since you last saw her. Nera lived a sheltered life, even being sent to live at an abbey for years to protect her. Debora wasn't as sheltered as Nera, getting to remain in the mansion, and having the game Bruise the Ooze in her room.
