And I Must Scream refers to an inescapable Fate Worse Than Death, not something being scary.

* AndIMustScream: Heavily and realistically simulated when it comes to setting Nazis on fire in the campaign and practically every player in multiplayer. Nazi's of all the game's characters, shriek like madmen whenever they're set alight by any fire-setting weapon. Just hearing their blood-curdling screams almost makes you feel bad for even burning them in the first place. However, as you see what they have done, it's more than likely you'll enjoy hearing them screech since they damn well deserved their horrible demises.
** Daniels lets out at least two or three near the end of the first mission. When a German soldier stabs Zussman he's clearly struggling with preventing the German from John Wick knifing him in his chest, Daniels comes to Zussman's rescue and the result? Daniels beating the German's skull in with the German's own helmet, all the while Daniels is screaming at the top of his lungs in obvious fear, anger, and adrenaline. He sure was pissed off too! Can you blame Daniels though? The poor guy nearly lost his buddy in combat due to a Nazi sneaking in.
** The Zombies game mode has justifiable moments. Mostly you will be screaming during the first few unexpected and random jumpscares that happen when you're close to a barrier or just happen to be caught of guard and a Nazi zombie turns you around and blabbers at you with a deep voice. It can even happen when you go around a corner unprepared.
** The opening D-Day mission will get you. It's intense, gory, and all the way around fucked up enough to get a complete scare out of you since you won't be expecting it. Of course if you're familiar with most Call of Duty games or have seen various films that depict the dreaded D-Day slaughter, you'll probably spot this in advance, but for those who aren't familiar with D-Day, shit's going to get brutal.
** Multiplayer, despite the obvious annoyances, is pretty fun, but some times, it can lead to rage quits, rage, or just out right unexpected jump scares if you're not careful and happen to bump into a player or AI bot on the opposite team. If you see an opponent with a rocket launcher, flamethrower, LMG, or sniper rifle, you're bound to shit yourself and scream like a little girl. Even the killstreaks are some times scary since you don't know what's coming to get you from above or below.

On launch, divisions also had division "abilities", special attachments exclusive to the weapon they specialized in, but have been patched to be either usable all the time (in the case of LMG bipods or holding breath while sniping) or non-exclusive unlockable attachments (bayonets, suppressors, incendiary shells and tactical knife). Adding Commando division info.

Added DiffLines:

** The Commando Division was added with the fourth and final map pack of the game's life span: Shadow War. Rather than focusing on a specific tactic or playstyle, the Commando is more of a general power class that works best to support strong players who can go on long streaks. Their tactical grenade slot is replaced with the Paratrooper insert. Much like the tac insert it designates the location of your next spawn, but you must remain as a Commando class and you will parachute in from above, limiting your entry points and leaving you vulnerable. They then get faster health regeneration, then multi-kills and headshots provide ammo and increased points, then the final upgrade allows you to choose a second basic training perk for your class, making it the only method of doing so in the game.

** The game brings back PressXToNotDie moments, but with the added requirement of moving the prompt in the target circle before pressing the button. The game teaches you this by giving you the same type of command to set up a Bangalore Torpedo, but without any time pressure, so the player can figure it out.
** The grenade danger indicator returns, which shows you the location of live grenades in your vicinity. One ability many players don't know about is picking live grenades up & throwing them back. Omaha beach teaches you this in the part where you drag Zussman to the CCP station. Slowed down, running from the live Stielhandgranate thrown at you is impossible. Instead, a prompt appears saying "Throw Back", indicating to you that you can pick the grenade up & throw it away. Even if you don't catch on at first and die, this is a scripted sequence, meaning you must learn how to pick up & throw live grenades to advance; a useful skill for other parts of the game.

Added DiffLines:

* MeaningfulBackgroundEvent: In the first mission, when Red is still on the boat to Omaha beach, an artillery shell hits the boat next to his, setting it on fire & causing it to veer off course. You can watch it keep going in the distance, but eventually it veers right, crashing into your boat.

Additionally, they can earn the ability to shield charge while sprinting, capture/use objectives faster, and increased score from capping objectives, plus two assists counting as a kill.

The game didn't cover the holocaust, just a GI labor camp. And one offhand line about a character being black (without calling attention to it) isn't "exploring" racism. The game is, at best, disingenuous in its approach to the racism felt by black Americans, and the horrific crimes committed against people of Jewish descent.
