** Most of the guns used in the game will have a star embedded on it if you recruit a merc in your ranks to search for a good gun. For example, if you're able to find a gun that is a Rank 5-6 with 1 or more stars, then it's better than those with no stars.
** In the Franchise/ResidentEvil collaboration, the guns you can pick from the collaboration event consist of the Beretta 92FS Samurai Edge pistol and the Thor's Hammer shotgun. Although the game makes it into an assault rifle since the weapons you can pick up/purchase from Igor don't have a shotgun category.
