Moved all the additional \"Coup De Grace\" examples to \"Technical Pacifist\", deleted chokeslam example as it didn\'t fit either aforementioned tropes, added to \"There Is No Kill Like Overkill\" and added \"Kick The Dog\".

** Well, there's an unarmed finisher that is a worthy successor to the knee stomp. It involves Ezio stepping on his opponents foot, causing them to hop on one leg, and then kicking them in their knee, snapping it at a near 90 degree angle.
** Most of Ezio's new unarmed finishers seem to be attempting to outdo Altaïr. Of note is the one where Ezio approaches a guard from behind, punches him in the kidneys, then turns around and breaks the guard's neck over his own back. It has to be seen to be believed.
*** It's also a NonLethalKO. ''Somehow.''
** A particularly rare case seems to only happen on sloped surfaces, such as rooftops. At the end of his one-two punch combo, Ezio will ''chokeslam'' the hapless guard for the TKO.

Added DiffLines:

* KickTheDog: To remind the player that the mooks they're sneaking by might not be {{just following orders}}, one of the later sequences has a cutscene of Cesare having his soldiers stab an innocent [[ForTheEvulz for no reason other than asking them to save her son]].

** Likewise with Paola, Antonio, and Teodora from Assassin's Creed II. The end of that game implies they traveled to Rome with the rest of the Assassins to make trouble in the city to divert the guard's attention from Ezio infiltrating the Vatican, they are not seen or mentioned at all in Brotherhood. The most likely explanation is they simply returned to Florence and Venice respectively after causing the distraction in Rome, but the game never comments one way or the other.

** Another piece of ending-related foreshadowing (though easily missed) comes from Shaun's in-Animus description of a church on the Campigdolio; apparently, there's a rumour it's built upon the ruins of the Temple of Juno and may be of significance. [[spoiler:It is, but not during the Ezio segments of the game.]]
** The appearance of [[spoiler:Juno]] at the end of the game is possibly foreshadowed by Lucy's e-mail password. It also would appear to foreshadow [[spoiler:Juno forcing Desmond to stab Lucy.]]

to:

* {{Crew of One}}: CrewOfOne: Both used and averted with Leonardo's war machines:

*** They do have a pretty hard time sticking to the road at some points. Can't really blame them though, poor things must have been terrified by all the noise the Machine Gun was making.

** Damned if he did, damned if he didn't. If Ezio had decided to "do ''[=AC2=]'' right," his answer would have been [[spoiler:*stab*]] "''Nothing'' is true, ''everything'' is permitted. [[spoiler:Requiescat in Pace]]."
*** ...and then toss him over the wall. According to TheOtherWiki, the real Cesare Borgia got stabbed and then either fell or got thrown off the castle wall.

* GameBreakingBug: Only less so, because of how rare it happens. When it does, it's horrible. During combat, Ezio will sometimes randomly shoot his hidden gun at the nearest target. Sometimes, he'll shoot civilians - standing behind the guard, somewhere off to the left, way off where you can't see them...If he does it enough, you get desynchronized, which is annoying in big battles. Luckily, most civilians are smart enough to run away.
** It's not a bug. It occurs when you hold down the Attack button when chaining kills instead of just tapping it. It occurs with any one-handed weapon that has a secondary weapon, so the best solution is to either move Ezio (and thus the guards) away from civilians or to avoid holding down the attack button when near civilians.
** If you kill a pickpocket or Borgia messenger while he's on a small ledge, the body will remain there and you cannot loot it, meaning that a potentially valuable item is lost to you.
** It's possible to "lose" a thrown Heavy Weapon or a Polearm in the geometry of the game objects (i.e. a wall) and be unable to pick it back up.
** There have been reports that one can collect more than the necessary amount of items/kills/etc. to complete a Guild Challenge but not have it register, or that the rewards for rising in rank after completing the Challenges do not appear... though the benefits may appear without the notification of what they are.
** It's also been noticed that sometimes the integration with the ''Project Legacy'' Facebook game (bonus florins for owning landmarks, the Florentine and Venetian Capes from combining the Auditore Trail mnemonic, and bonus EXP for completing Contract memories in ''Project Legacy'' -- which themselves are unlocked by progress in ''Brotherhood'') is sometimes delayed, such as taking several days to be credited.
** It's been noticed that the game is prone to suddenly suffer sudden FPS drop or outright freeze for a second, which can be ''extremely'' inconvenient during dire circumstances.
** Some have had the game take Parachutes away from Ezio when entering missions or side quests like the Lairs of Romulus -- not losing the ability to use them, but rather Ezio having ''zero'' Parachutes in his Inventory upon leaving that memory.
** When assassinating a guard, there is a very rare bug that can cause Ezio to begin floating up into the sky. He will simply rise at a very slow pace with no signs of stopping. It gives a good view of Rome, but there's really no way to get down short of leaving the Animus, as the player loses all control at the moment it happens.

*** It's actually possible to reach that Lair of Romulus entrance ''without'' repairing the aqueduct, but you can't access that Lair of Romulus memory until sometime during Sequence 6 or later, and if you somehow fall out of the entrance alcove, it's a long way up to try to get back in -- repairing that particular aqueduct raises the water level next to the alcove so that it's a lot easier to get back into.

** Ezio can kill people with a ''broom''. The achievement for actually killing someone with it is called "Spring Cleaning".
*** [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOp7tVexx90&list=FLQqRcYk5CkKReN7L4EpI2mQ&index=19 It's hilarious.]]

** Given [[CurbStompBattle the]] [[WhatDoYouMeanItsNotAwesome situation]] of the final boss battle in ''[=AC2=]'', this kind of justified.

** The Hidden Gun is also more ''far'' useful than it used to be due to his having had over a decade to practice with it, and somehow modifying it (before going to infiltrate the Vatican at the end of 1499 in ''[=AC2=]'', since he himself didn't probably have time to do so between his return to Monteriggioni and the next morning's siege) to be able to fire using his left wrist alone.

This happens to be incredibly potent for mucking up a long kill-streak (getting more than five is one of the Mercenaries Guild Challenges).

* AwesomeButImpractical: [[RainOfArrows Arrow]] [[SmartBomb Storm]]. Once you have six Assassins in your Brotherhood, you can wipe out every guard in sight by holding down the Call Assassins button. Downside? Just tapping the button will summon some of those Assassins to the field in person, where they be just a bit slower in wiping out the guards - and the "cooldown" for Calls is three times faster than if you used an Arrow Storm - even if you expended the meter. It's still pretty useful to get perfect synchronization sometimes (for example, when you need to finish the mission without taking any damage and there's 15+ enemies ready to eviscerate you), but you don't have much control over which specific targets are hit other than whoever you targeted.
