Important ingredients, process steps, etcetera ''will'' be left out, in the hopes that, say, people ''can't'' learn how to make methamphetamine from Series/BreakingBad or that kids watching an educational show about science won't accidentally create a bomb with mentos and Coke. Famously {{Lampshaded}} by the Series/{{Mythbusters}} when cooking up Thermite: "[[AndSomeOtherStuff don't mix blur with blur]]."

* SignificantWhiteHairDarkSkin: While it is not especially common, dark-skinned people are as susceptible to premature gray or white hair as those with light skin.
* SignificantGreenEyedRedhead: Some people with this combination exist, particularly in Scotland and Ireland. There are several red-headed celebrities with green eyes, for example Genghis Khan.

* SugarWiki/SweetDreamsFuel: Sometimes, many mundane details seen throughout our daily lives such as a starry night sky with a full moon shining, mounted dinosaur fossils in a natural history museum, domestic cats [[TummyCushion sleeping on top of one of their owners' abdomens]], and a woman [[MarshmallowHell sandwiching a young boy's head in between her boobs as she tightly hugs him]] all tend to make us inexplicably smile.

* SeldomSeenSpecies: In RealLife, many still-surviving species are elusive and lesser-known, therefore denying them many chances to be seen in both documentaries and fictional works. Likewise, many lesser-known prehistoric species oftentimes don't get too much representation in either natural history museums or the media.

* SurpriseCreepy: Life is full of this. Even things you didn't think were creepy once can later take on that tone (e.g. one of the neighbors who had the house every kid in the neighborhood hung out at was arrested, years later, for child sexual abuse)

* SingleTargetSexuality: Not heard often, but there ''are'' people who have had only one true love in their life. Demisexuals are most likely to be subject to this, since they are attracted to people who've bonded significantly with them before.
* SingleTaskRobot: Most real-life robots only have as many functions as certain people ''need'' from them.

* TheScrappy: Bill collectors are one of the most hated professions out there largely in part due to their (justified) very bad reputation. Attorneys and estate agents, politicians, [[AcceptableProfessionalTargets the list goes on]].

* SadClown: Many people use humor to cope through hard times and safe to say everyone has made fun of themselves or an unfortunate event that has happened to them.

* SarcasmBlind: Young age or unfamiliarity with a language or a culture and its means of sarcasm can cause this. Often also affects people on the autism spectrum; in principle it can happen to everyone. Everybody draws a blank sometimes.

* SavageSpinosaurs: Just like any other theropod dinosaurs, ''Spinosaurus'', ''Baryonyx'', ''Suchomimus'', ''Oxalaia'', ''Siamosaurus'', and ''Irritator'' were all vicious carnivores capable of [[SwallowedWhole gulping down humans whole]] and tearing just about whatever they wanted to open with their rather large hand-claws.

* SirSwearsALot: Fuck, a lot of fuckers do this way too fucking much.

* {{Troll}}: An undeniable [[TruthInTelevision Truth In New Media]]. If you spend any amount of time on the internet, you will see them, and you will likely interact with some even if it's just trying to banhammer them or keep them out - or you may be one yourself.

* SwampsAreEvil: To a degree, as "[[NatureIsNotNice Swamps are dangerous]]" is more accurate when discussing real-life swamps. They tend to attract a lot of insects, which can carry diseases; they are difficult to navigate on foot; all the water makes them prone to heavy fog; and dangerous animals like [[NeverSmileAtACrocodile crocodiles, alligators]], [[SnakesAreSinister venomous snakes]], and [[PiranhaProblem piranhas]], have made swamps their home

* StrawCritic: Just head on to the Website/YouTube comments, or read any widely-mocked "critic's" article....
* StrawFeminist: They do exist, but they do ''not'' represent all feminists.
* StrawmanHasAPoint: Yes, even people who are stereotypically "strawmen" can have legitimate points. For example, the StrawFeminist may consider pornography or the MaleGaze "rape" - but that doesn't make her opposition to ''actual'' rape any less invalid or more deserving of condemnation. Or the Straw Vegan might view owning animals as animal abuse but that does not make his/her arguments against circus elephants less meaningful.
* StrawNihilist: Often overlaps with EmoTeen.

* SentimentalHomemadeToy: Some homemade toys are deeply treasured by their owners.

* SingleParentsAreUndesirable: It's quite common for single parents to have a hard time dating, especially when there are some people who have no interest in children.
* SingleWomanSeeksGoodMan: Some people prefer to be in a relationship with someone who has a lot of positive characteristics.

* SealedEvilInACan: Certain substances or eradicated pathogens that have been stored and heavily guarded have the risk of becoming such, and scientists and other people in charge are very aware of it. Efforts are being taken to ensure that whatever warnings are placed on the storage of such substances is still understood as dangerous even thousands in the future.

* SelfMadeMan: There are a few people who ''might'' qualify as such, but even most of them have had help (at least via privilege, e.g. being white and male and heterosexual in a society that values that, and often a lot more help than that).

* TalkingAnimal: Humans. Many species of parrot can also mimic human speech.
* TalkingToThemself: While talking to oneself is common, it is known as a social taboo.

* TakeOverTheWorld: Cliched now, but UsefulNotes/AdolfHitler did want to do this via ''Lebensraum,'' and [[UsefulNotes/ImperialJapan Emperor Hirohito and Hideki Tojo]] wanted to take over half of it via [[PeoplesRepublicOfTyranny "The Greater East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere,"]] and technically, for much of the 20th century, the US and the Soviet Union actually accomplished it halfway for each. After the Soviet Union collapsed, the US actually did it for the most part (in a cultural and political and war-threatening sense) for a while - and part of one of the biggest debates in the world right now is if that was for good or ill, ''and'' if other nations gaining power again should be seen as a threat to the US... or simply as a legitimate balance of power that the world hasn't had.

* SerendipitousSymphony: There are musical pieces based on this, and the concept of "everything is an instrument" in Noise music and in some forms of electronic music takes it UpToEleven.
