* UnspecifiedRoleCredit: The credits of the game only list a few voice actors for both the English and Japanese cast, but they don't specify who was playing who in-game. While some actors did come forward to confirm who they voiced, some were left to the fans to piece together who was voicing who.
* UncreditedRole: For a while, Carlos' English voice actor was a complete mystery, like G-OLM from ''VisualNovel/VirtuesLastReward'' and Snake from the 2016 remaster of ''VisualNovel/NineHoursNinePersonsNineDoors''. The list of credits for the dub cast list a few names, and Andrew Bowen was not among them. This is considerably strange, as unlike G-OLM and Snake, he's one of the playable characters and is even considered TheHero. The only way fans determined it was Bowen was by matching Carlos' voice to past performances by Bowen.

** Uchikoshi has mentioned that his script has changed over the past 4 years during its hiatus. There's no telling how much has been changed, although it's likely that at least some of the dropped concepts from ''Virtue's Last Reward'' would originally have been followed up here.

* IKnewIt:
** Pretty much every fan figured out that Participant 9, 7, 3 and 5 were respectively Sigma, Diana, Phi and Junpei. Many also guessed 6 was Akane, though some were somewhat more hesitant there.
** After Uchikoshi confirmed on twitter that "Gab" was the name of a character and his favourite of the new ones, many fans guessed Gab to be the dog mentioned in the past. This was proven to be correct.
** From the moment his design was revealed, many fans guessed Eric was either a villain or AxCrazy. The trailer more or less confirmed that was the case.

* FanNickname: Junpei is called Grumpy Jumpy by fans for being more pessimistic this time around.
