** The Blue-Eyes White Jet that would appear in the anime wouldn't appear in the manga until a much later story arc, replacing the generic fighter jet that Kaiba had flown just prior to Battle City. The movie aired before the first episode it featured in was aired, and the anime episode aired before the first appearance in the manga was distributed.

BBT was 4kids and it got the extended version, and dsod was basically 4kids.

* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: Given the movie was dubbed by 4Kids, the extended Japanese version will likely never see any sort of release in the United States. It wasn’t even released when the movie got a Blu-Ray release in 2019! Compare that to Bonds Beyond Time and The Dark Side of Dimensions which did come with their respective Japanese versions...

* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: Outside of the initial VHS/DVD release, the movie hasn't been rereleased in 16:9, in high definition anywhere, nor in its extended form with the Japanese audio outside of Japan.
** In 2019, the film will finally be rereleased, remastered in HD and widescreen. Whether it'll have the extended cut or Japanese audio is still a mystery, though.
