** One could argue ''the entire game'' has been a succession of these due to the massive negative reception. The game's forums are virtually universal in the viewpoint that updates thus far are more of a 'add in what should have been present at launch' development process.
* ScheduleSlip: Fatshark's development time is notoriously slow. At the time of writing, it's taken them a year and a half to promise to address the main critiques of the 'crafting' system, nearly as long to implement the cosmetics ''on the cover art of the game'', and over three months to even communicate upcoming changes with the fans - after [[EpicFail giving themselves half a month to write a blog post and then missing their self-appointed deadline by over a week.]] 'Next week' became a meme early on in the game's development for the consistent failure of the developers to meet self-appointed deadlines for patches, hotfixes, or even simple blog posts.

* ReportingNames: The Veteran Sharpshooter has a bunch of them for various threats; most are used by the Professional, but may rarely be heard from the Cutthroat too. Loose Cannons will usually bungle them and use the wrong number, or devolve into BuffySpeak.

* ActingForTwo: The male Loner Psyker and the Bully Ogryn are both voiced by Greg Jones. Unlike other examples of the game's cast voicing multiple characters, the Loner and Bully are the only instance where both characters can be actively conversing with each other.

* AuthorsSavingThrow: After much negative fan reception over the several bugs, tedious RNG-filled progression loop, and incomplete crafting system, Fatshark [[https://twitter.com/Darktide40K/status/1617960503233445910 sent an open letter to fans]] and changed their development priorities into fixing these specific issues as an attempt at this trope.
** Later, an interview/reveal posted by {{Magazine/PC Gamer}} in mid-August of '23 revealed that the four core classes were being massively overhauled with a new node-based progression system, each with three core lines that seem to be semi-mixable, somewhat similar to the original career(s) system of {{VideoGame/Vermintide II}}. Significant changes revealed include a new defensive ability and new offensive options for the Psyker, changes to the divisive ogryn "grenades" (adding a conventional "big grenade" option that explodes as you would expect, as well as a cooldown-based Big Rock that replicates some of the Box o' Hurt's behaviour), and some other adjustments.
