** Doug is aware of the backlash his review of ''Music/TheWall'' received, and has accepted that it didn't work out as much as he thought he wouldn, though he takes the backlash and memes in stride. * IKnewIt:
** Everyone who thought that Critic was still having job issues and was getting more depressed over the course of 2012 was validated when the big ''Film/ScoobyDoo'' rant came. And after validation arrived the sad, as it was a huge TearJerker.
** When it was announced that he would do a review of the Uncanny Valley movie, fans assumed/hoped that he would go easy on ''Dark Side Of The Internet'' because with producers talking about genuine threats sent to them, Doug would look like a complete prick making fun of that, especially when he's got a lot of fandom issues himself. Sure enough, when Allison talks about the abuse she's received, he's too depressed to do any mocking.

* CowboyBebopAtHisComputer:
** ''Literature/TheLittleMermaid'' is ''not'' English literature as he claims in his review of ''WesternAnimation/TheKingAndI'' (it’s Danish). Particularly bad since he was making fun of how cartoon adaptations get everything wrong. The mistake is even stranger because Doug spent the opening of his Disneycember ''WesternAnimation/{{The Little Mermaid|1989}}'' review comparing the book to the movie, so clearly he knew about the country of origin back then.
** ''Even after being told he was incorrect in Disneycember'', he STILL refers to [[Anime/SpiritedAway Chihiro]] as "Zen" in his Top 10 Movie Moments video. That's not even close to her assigned name "Sen" in the movie. To clarify, Sen is the name the witch Yubaba gives her, but Chihiro doesn't adopt it outside of one line before being reminded of her real name. The movie also has a big plot point around remembering true names, so for him to not remember her real name makes no sense.
** In ''The Top 11 Disney Princess Conspiracy Theories'', he thought the area around the church was also called "Notre Dame". [[https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1081168761949584&id=127127037353766 He realized the oops]] not long after the video's release, and hoped people would still get what he meant.
** In his, ''Film/AlienVsPredator'' review, he assumed that Weyland was asthmatic - when it's established that he's ''dying of a terminal illness''. It's a good thing Doug's not a doctor.
** The live action remake of ''The Jungle Book'' wasn't meant to be a gritty, "adult," remake of the original animated film. It was meant to be a different take on the same material in live action, aimed toward all ages.
** In his review of ''Film/TheLeagueOfExtraordinaryGentlemen'', he criticizes an out-of-nowhere reveal by the BigBad that Tom Sawyer turned out to be Alan Quartermain's long-lost son, except that's not the case. To be more specific, the BigBad was asking if Quartermain was going to let Sawyer (whom he took hostage) die as he did with his son.
** In "Commercials Resurrection", after seeing a bunch of Australian [[PublicServiceAnnouncement Public Service Announcements]] about the dangers of train crossings, he makes it seem like the Frubes advert also came from Australia. However, Frubes is the [[MarketBasedTitle UK name for Go-Gurt]], which is where the advert actually came from. In Australia, Go-Gurt is sold under its original name.
** He claims the delays for ''Film/{{Morbius|2022}}'' were to hype it up and make it seem like the "''Next'' ''Film/TopGunMaverick''". Whilst both films suffered from [[ReleaseDateChange Release Date Changes]], ''Film/{{Morbius|2022}}'' ended up in American theaters first on April 1 2022 while ''Film/TopGunMaverick'' wouldn't come out until over a month later on May 27 2022.

I always found it weird he compared it to TG:Maverick when Morbius was in cinemas first. He could have been speaking metaphorically but it would have worked better if he'd gone for an older long-delayed film like The Cabin in The Woods or something.

** In his review of ''Film/StreetFighter'', Critic remarks how impractically packed and large the cast is, mockingly joking it as "A Street Fighter Christmas." The film actually did feature a TroubledProduction due to being ChristmasRushed (specifically for merchandising tie-ins by Hasbro), as well as suffering from ExecutiveMeddling, with the inclusion of all its characters being mandated by Creator/{{Capcom}} against the wishes of the filmmakers.
** During his review of ''Film/TankGirl'', Critic gets repeatedly frustrated with the overuse of [[ArtShift sudden inclusions of comic drawings instead of live action]], guessing that the makers simply forgot to shoot several scenes and had to improvise. As it turns out, he was partially correct — in an interview, co-creator Jamie Hewlett said that he and Alan Martin had to animate several scenes because the producers forgot to film them.
** Regarding ''Film/JurassicPark1993'', he jokes near the end of his review that John Hammond should have cloned wooly mammoths. In [[Literature/JurassicPark the original novel]], Hammond did just that to demonstrate the potential of cloning long-extinct species.
