** Doug is aware of the backlash his review of ''Music/TheWall'' received, and has accepted that it didn't work out as much as he thought he wouldn, though he takes the backlash and memes in stride. During a short which showed the Nostalgia Critic's reaction towards ''WesternAnimation/ThePatrickStarShow'' showing Bubble Bass resembling him, when Sam Fennah of ''WebVideo/SatelliteCity'' [[https://twitter.com/SamFennah/status/1683925077971320832 jokingly tweeted]] that the whole thing wouldn't have happened if he didn't review ''The Wall'', his reaction was to post a GIF of [[WesternAnimation/SouthPark Kyle Broflovski]] saying "You were right all along".

** Everyone who thought that Critic was still having job issues and was getting more depressed over the course of 2012 was validated when the big ''Film/ScoobyDoo'' rant came. And after validation arrived the sad, as it was a huge TearJerker.
** When it was announced that he would do a review of the Uncanny Valley movie, fans assumed/hoped that he would go easy on ''Dark Side Of The Internet'' because with producers talking about genuine threats sent to them, Doug would look like a complete prick making fun of that, especially when he's got a lot of fandom issues himself. Sure enough, when Allison talks about the abuse she's received, he's too depressed to do any mocking.

** ''Literature/TheLittleMermaid'' is ''not'' English literature as he claims in his review of ''WesternAnimation/TheKingAndI'' (it’s Danish). Particularly bad since he was making fun of how cartoon adaptations get everything wrong. The mistake is even stranger because Doug spent the opening of his Disneycember ''WesternAnimation/{{The Little Mermaid|1989}}'' review comparing the book to the movie, so clearly he knew about the country of origin back then.
** ''Even after being told he was incorrect in Disneycember'', he STILL refers to [[Anime/SpiritedAway Chihiro]] as "Zen" in his Top 10 Movie Moments video. That's not even close to her assigned name "Sen" in the movie. To clarify, Sen is the name the witch Yubaba gives her, but Chihiro doesn't adopt it outside of one line before being reminded of her real name. The movie also has a big plot point around remembering true names, so for him to not remember her real name makes no sense.
** In ''The Top 11 Disney Princess Conspiracy Theories'', he thought the area around the church was also called "Notre Dame". ** The live action remake of ''The Jungle Book'' wasn't meant to be a gritty, "adult," remake of the original animated film. It was meant to be a different take on the same material in live action, aimed toward all ages.
** In his review of ''Film/TheLeagueOfExtraordinaryGentlemen'', he criticizes an out-of-nowhere reveal by the BigBad that Tom Sawyer turned out to be Alan Quartermain's long-lost son, except that's not the case. To be more specific, the BigBad was asking if Quartermain was going to let Sawyer (whom he took hostage) die as he did with his son.

* BeamMeUpScotty: Whenever Doug Walker's Disneycember review of ''{{WesternAnimation/Hercules}}'' is brought up, the quote "It looks like Vegas! Why does it look like Vegas?!" is brought up to reference a WebVideo/OneyPlays joke that makes people think Doug only criticized the movie for the movie's visuals looking like Las Vegas. But, obviously Doug never said that infamous quote, and the mention of Vegas was due to Doug feeling that the movie was coming up with ideas that don't go together such as the fact that Gerald Scarfe came up with the visuals for this movie and doesn't think the Vegas visual and tone of the movie fits Scarfe's work.

** ''Film/ErnestSavesChristmas'' has a couple of noteworthy cuts, both of which were most likely due to PoliticalCorrectnessGoneMad, as the line about Critic asking if Joe entertains autistic children, and his voiceover of Santa greeting his fellow prison inmates with, [[NWordPrivileges "Wazzup my niggas?"]] have been edited out.
** ''Film/Gordy'' completely removed the entire closing credits sequence in which Critic rocks out to the Tag Team music video for "Pig Power in the House" which is featured prominently in the film.
