* RecycledScript: "Tundra" and "Hitcher" have pretty much the same plot with a different setting and villain. Howard and Vince go on a journey far from the zoo in search of something, with a little help from Music/GaryNuman, but get into an argument and split up before they find it. All alone, Howard gets captured by the MonsterOfTheWeek, ironically in the place they were looking for, then Vince finds him and gets captured too. Someone from the zoo comes to rescue them but fails, then they are rescued for real by a bear.

** "Tundra" was based on a stage play Barrett and Fielding wrote, "Arctic Boosh", where they played hapless mailmen who needed to make a delivery to the North Pole.

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: Creator/NoelFielding and Julian Barratt once revealed they wanted Vince and Howard to get together during the tv show, but they changed their mind for fear of hitting the RelationshipCeiling. Possibly related to this is an unproduced script they talked about, which was an episode where Vince and Howard would take a potion that would lower their inhibitions to the point they have sex and wake up in bed together.

** On the ''Series/DoctorWho'' special of ''NeverMindTheBuzzcocks'', Noel offered Bernard Cribbins a writing spot for the show after being impressed with Cribbins' awesome dry sense of humor. This has sadly not panned out.
