* WhatCouldHaveBeen: The series was allegedly originally meant to be an AnimatedAdaptation of the webcomic ''Webcomic/LeastICouldDo''. Creator Ryan Sohmer has [[http://forums.leasticoulddo.com/index.php?showtopic=33882&st=0 openly called the show a rip-off of his own work]], claiming that Blind Ferret Entertainment (the comic's publishers) had pitched an idea for a ''LICD'' series to Creator/{{Teletoon}} until they backed out due to massive amounts of ExecutiveMeddling. He states that Teletoon took his hard work and made a series of their own, with many of the same concepts, and then put in the suggestions they'd been asking Sohmer to make (adding large amounts of Canadian culture to the show, making one character a chronic pot-smoker, having the main character be a serial monogamist and not a man-whore, etc.). Teletoon has reportedly denied the accusation (with the show being a creation of Creator/EntertainmentOne and [=MarbleMedia=]), but the show's existence was enough to spur the ''LICD'' creators to get to work on an independently-produced adaptation of their comic.

* Ryan Sohmer of ''Webcomic/LeastICouldDo'' fame has openly called the show a rip-off of his own work, which Teletoon denies: http://forums.leasticoulddo.com/index.php?showtopic=33882&st=0. This is REALLY such a notable thing about the series that it's a shame the show's defenders keep editing it out.
