* ColbertBump: Despite receiving a fairly lavish English localization (including a limited theatrical release across the United States by Creator/AniplexUSA), ''Anime/ExpelledFromParadise'' flew under the radar of many people outside of Japan in 2014. Its announcement for ''T'' has stirred renewed interest in it.

** Creator/UnshoIshizuka, the voice of Jet from ''Anime/CowboyBebop'', passed away almost three months prior to the announcement of ''Super Robot Wars T''. Whether the character will be re-cast, have no speaking role at all, if Ishizuka completed recorded dialogue before his passing or the developers will use re-cut audio from the show itself is unknown.

** Once again Creator/HochuOtsuka gets to do double duty in two Gundam characters: [[Anime/MobileSuitZetaGundam Yazan Gable]] and [[Anime/MobileFighterGGundam Chibodee Crocket]].

Chinese and Korean had the same problem since Korean writes both names phonetically as in English, and in the official Chinese translation of ''Nadesico'', Hikaru shares the same Hanzi as the ''Rayearth'''s one. To make things even more confusing, both girls are addressed in their respecting settings [[FirstNameBasis by first name most of the time]], so in the case both girls had to be mentioned or Rayearth's Hikaru has to talk with her Nadesico's peer, she (and the rest of the cast) would had to go with LastNameBasis out of necessity, especially in Hikaru Shido's case, as Hikaru Amano is older than her.[[/note]]

This has led to a lot of questions about how Jet will be handled voice-wise - whether he'll be recast, if he'll have no speaking role at all, if Ishizuka somehow recorded lines before passing on, if the sound team will somehow try to re-cut audio from the show for his lines, or what have you.
** Similarly Creator/KoujiTsujitani passed away a month before the debut trailer and how they'll handle Kincade Nau is left in question. However, SRW's increasing focus on using the later instalments of Crossbone Gundam where Kincade passed the role of protagonist to Tobia means that it's likely they'll stick to having Tobia act as the sole representative of Crossbone and "retire" Kincade's character.
