* Super Robot Wars T is, by dint of serendipity, the closest the franchise has come to having (nearly) every property involved being licensed for sale in North America prior to release since VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsW back in 2007. In fact, some of these were on the nose: Anime/ArmoredTrooperVOTOMS was picked up for licensing by Creator/HIDIVE roughly four months prior to the announcement of Terra, while Creator/DiscotekMedia brought over the specific version of Anime/CaptainHarlock for this game in May 2017. The only properties not licensed for distribution by the time of release were Anime/TheBraveExpressMightGaine and Invincible Robo Tryder G7 ("Trider G7", however, did get a release in Italy during the [=1980s=]). VideoGame/SuperRobotWars30 had more previously-unlicensed works in it (since Anime/GaoGaiGarFinal and Literature/KingOfKingsGaogaigarVSBetterman remained unlicensed at the time of the release of 30, as was Anime/BravePoliceJDecker).

** Among the main supporting cast of Arcadia of my Youth - Endless Orbit SSX are Creator/KeiTomiyama (Tochiro Oyama) and Creator/HiromiTsuru (Revi), both of whom had passed away by the time voice recordings began. While Tochiro does appear, with Creator/KoichiYamadera taking Tomiyama's place, Revi does not have any voiced lines, only appearing in cut-scenes.

** From the same entry, in a case that overlaps with TheOtherDarrin, Tochiro Oyama's lines for the game are provided by Creator/KoichiYamadera, who previously voiced him in the mini-series Harlock Saga and Anime/QueenEmeraldas OriginalVideoAnimation.

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: According to Super Robot Wars series producer Takenobu Terada, the original 1978 Space Pirate Captain Harlock was considered, but T producer Shouhei Mogami wanted Arcadia of my Youth. The team eventually settled on the latter as the titular Arcadia battleship is more recognizable by fans due to its green color, including TheCameo in Manga/GalaxyExpress999.

* ActingForTwo:
** An inevitability with Creator/NobuyukiHiyama as he voices the protagonists of Might Gaine and The King of Braves GaoGaiGar. The two not only have Support Attack/Defend quotes for each other, but also a shared "Save/Quit" skit.
** Likewise, Creator/ShigeruNakahara for Anime/AuraBattlerDunbine due to a mixture of for Show Zama and Shion Zaba.
** Creator/KoichiYamadera pulls quadruple duty as Gyunei Guss, Hokushin, Spike Spiegel, and Tochiro Oyama; %%on the same page, Creator/NorioWakamoto with Koichiro Ota, Allen Brady, and Vicious.
** Once again, Creator/HochuOtsuka gets to do double duty with Franchise/Gundam characters Yazan Gable and Chibodee Crocket, as will Creator/KappeiYamaguchi for Sai Saici and Tobia Arronax.
** Creator/MariaKawamura reprises her roles as Jung Freud, Quess Paraya and Cham Huau.
** Creator/TohruFuruya is doing double duty as Amuro Ray and Mr. Zone.
** Creator/MegumiOgata finally could get to talk to herself via Eagle Vision and Emeraude, since Eagle got an AdaptationalEarlyAppearance and appearing before Emeraude bit the dust, and could even fight her.
** Creator/KonamiYoshida ends up having to pull a double-duty with both Umi Ryuuzaki and the female half of the Z-Master (she actually had more roles in the latter, but only that part was voiced here).
** In the Expansion Pack, due to voicing originals in VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsV, Creator/UmekaShoji gets to do this trope as a heroine (Sagiri) and as a villain (Jamie).

* RecastAsARegular: Both Creator/TakeshiKusao and Creator/UmekaShoji played supporting characters in previous games before getting cast as protagonists Saizo and Sagiri.

* TalkingToHimself:
** An inevitability with Creator/NobuyukiHiyama as he voices the protagonists of Might Gaine and The King of Braves GaoGaiGar.

** Downplayed with Anime/CowboyBebop, Manga/MagicKnightRayearth and Arcadia of my Youth: none of them were unpopular (though Arcadia, in particular, was perhaps rather obscure by the time of announcement, especially to recent generations of Anglophone anime fans), but after their respective runs and some old SpinOff video games, they didn't get any new, substantial media entries in the [=2000s=] and early [=2010s=], staying as Cult Classics, but their announcement in T re-started interestIn the case of Cowboy Bebop, it gets further bumped thanks to Creator/Netflix announcing a live-action adaptation shortly after its inclusion for this game was revealed.

RVA is now a disambig.

* RelationshipVoiceActor: One of the protagonists, Saizo, and the main rival, Rudi, are voiced by two VideoGame/SamuraiWarriors alumnus where they voiced actual master-servant pair, UsefulNotes/SanadaYukimura and Kunoichi.

Names The Same is no longer a trope

* NamesTheSame:
** There are two girls named "Hikaru": if the surname is "Shidou", she's the younger Magic Knight of Fire; if it's "Amano", she's the older Aestevalis pilot and a YaoiFangirl. This case is actually used InUniverse during the "Beautiful Criminals" DownloadableContent; when Hikaru (Amano) declares herself "Miss T3", Izumi snarks that she's confusing herself with T3's other Hikaru (Shidou).
** For further surname shenanigans, when it comes to Amano, is it Hikaru or Kazumi? Likewise, Spike has the same surname used for the "Spiegel Gundam" belonging to Schwarz Bruder (Japan-exclusive, however; in the localization, this is not the case since the name used is the "Shadow Gundam").
