Moved Unintentional Period Piece to the YMMV tab.

* RefittedForSequel: There were features designed for the first ''Skate'' game that were axed and saved for later installments. For example, the option to play as a gal would debut in ''Skate It'' the following year and the ability to dismount and walk on foot wouldn't be available until ''Skate 2''.
* UnintentionalPeriodPiece:
** The first game featured The Skateboard Mag as one of two publications the player can get coverage for (the other one being Thrasher). TSM published its last issue in 2017.
** The in-game cell phone is the [[ProductPlacement T-Mobile Sidekick 3]], a re-branded Danger Hiptop 3. The Hiptop/Sidekick line of smartphones ceased production in 2010, while the Danger cloud service was discontinued in 2011.
** One of the characters in the first and second game is Christopher "Big Black" Boykin, Rob Dyrdek's bodyguard. Big Black suffered a heart attack and passed away in 2017.
