* ExiledFromContinuity: How is Adora/She-Ra doing? What's going on over in Etheria now that magic is fading away? Well... since He-Man and She-Ras licenses are currently owned by different companies (Netflix licensed He-Man and Dreamworks has the adaption rights to She-Ra), we probably won't get an answer anytime soon. Specially after Amazon Prime announced a live-action adaptation of She-Ra. [[spoiler:Though it isn't actually the case, given how parts of the sequel series including its stinger.]]

* CastingGag: In this series Keldor and Skeletor are voiced by Creator/WilliamShatner and Creator/MarkHamill respectively. Given the FandomRivalry between Franchise/StarTrek and Franchise/StarWars it’s an interesting decision to have Captain Kirk and Luke Skywalker voicing character.

* LyingCreator: Creator/KevinSmith constantly denied rumors that the show would actually be about Teela instead of series protagonist He-Man/Prince Adam, even going so far as to denounce Youtubers [=ClownfishTV=] when one of their insiders leaked plot details about the show. The first episode ends with Adam sacrificing himself to prevent the destruction of the universe. From there, Teela serves as the lead character, with the following four episodes revolving around Adam's “death”, which has caused magic to slowly dissipate in Eternia, as well as Teela's own feelings about being LockedOutOfTheLoop.

The "lying" aspect is somewhat lessened by the second half of the series, however, with Adam coming back in a Deuteragonist role, though Teela's character arc is still given a significant focus.
