* OutlivedItsCreator: While the Netflix series started production during Anna Dewdney's final stages of breast cancer. The Llama Llama series currently lives on as an animated series on Netflix, merchandise, and occasional stage shows. Some of the original Llama Llama books that were unpublished ("Llama Llama Loves To Read" and "Llama Llama Easter Egg") managed to get released two years after her passing. Future Llama Llama books by Dewdney (such as "Llama Llama ABC") would also get released posthumously using Dewdney's manuscripts and illustrated by JT Morrow.

* TalkingToHimself: Creator/KathleenBarr is the voice of Grandma Llama, Mama Gnu, Lenora Leopard, Ramona Rhino ''and'' Eleanor Elephant. While not all of those characters talk to each other, they are all adults, so there's some interaction.
** Likewise, Creator/VincentTong voices two characters- Officer Flamingo and Daddy Gnu.

* NamesTheSame: Llama’s neighbor, Eleanor Elephant, shares her name with another Eleanor Elephant, [[VideoGame/JumpStart one that’s pink in color]].

** Creator/KathSoucie provides the voice of Henry Hedgehog, a OneShotCharacter who only appeared in an episode where Llama Llama goes to the doctors.

* NamesTheSame: Luna Giraffe, whose first name of course is a stock StellarName, and a very common one that is widely used across the industry.
** Likewise, Nelly Gnu shares her first name with a certain pink elephant.
** Lastly, Llama’s neighbor, Eleanor Elephant, shares her name with another Eleanor Elephant, [[VideoGame/JumpStart one that’s pink in color]].

* StellarName: Luna.
