** In September 2019, almost a year and a half after the release of the fourth major album ''Prequelle'', Ghost released an EP with two original songs: Kiss the Go-Goat, and Mary on a Cross. The former received a music video, while the latter did not. Nonetheless, nearly three years later it was ultimately Mary on a Cross that went viral after a popular Website/TikTok video about ''Series/StrangerThings'' used it as the background music, to the point where it is now one of the most popular Ghost songs. Ghost even released a music/lyric video for it in the same style as "Kiss the Go-Goat".

* BlackSheepHit: "Dance Macabre", from their fourth album ''Prequelle'', sounds quite a bit different than what they [[RockMeAsmodeus normally]] [[HollywoodSatanism do]], and in fact when Tobias Forge originally wrote it he didn't envision at as a ''Ghost'' song. Nonetheless, it's become one of the band's most popular hits.

* FanNickname:
** Tobias Forge is usually nicknamed by a combination of his initials: TF. Most fans tend to call him '''T'''ender '''F'''ather but it's not unusual for him to be referred to as Toasted Fudge, Tedious Frog and so on and so forth.
*** Tobias has also been referred to as The Director, given his love of films and the art of film-making, and the fact that the lore of Ghost has been built almost solely by him (with addition of the characters of the Nameless Ghouls having their own personalities from the musicians that portray them.)
** The female bassist who played with the band during the American leg of the Popestar tour is "Water Ghulah/Ghuleh" or "Mist."
** The keyboardist playing during the European leg of the Popestar Tour is often derisively called "chAir" for [[FelonyMisdemeanor sitting during concerts.]]
** Cardinal Copia's name is frequently shortened to "[[Music/{{CardiB}} Cardi C]]." Tobias himself [[AscendedMeme has acknowledged]] this nickname, in their [[https://twitter.com/AppleMusic/status/1013485754335424512 Apple Music promo]] for ''Prequelle''.
** Originally, the Nameless Ghouls Fire and Aether were called just that, but the fans kept calling them Alpha and Omega, respectively. It eventually caught on and they were even acknowledged as such by Papa on stage.
** The current lead guitarist is called Dewdrop/Dew by the fans, even though, as lead guitarist, he's technically a Fire Ghoul. This is because he actually joined the band in 2017 as a bassist Water Ghoul and the name stuck.
** The Ghoul that joined during the "Rats! on the Road" tour is referred to as either Multighoul or Swiss Army Ghoul due to him playing multiple instruments.
** The Ghoul who appeared the most by himself is nicknamed Special Ghoul. [[spoiler: He was actually Tobias himself.]]
** The Ghoulettes who joined on the "Rats! on the Road" tour are affectionately nicknamed Pam and Karen by the fans. They've also been given the nicknames Cirrus and Cumulus (after clouds) due to their designation as Air Ghouls.
** The official Copia plushie has been termed the 'Cursed Potato' by fans due to it's OffModel design.
** [[spoiler: Within hours of Copia's christening as Papa Emeritus IV, fans have taken to calling him "Popia"]]

* TrollingCreator: Tobias Forge embraces this by making a mockumentary entitled [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9niLIO6X-MM Metal Myth Ghost Pt 2]]. There was never a Pt 1 and the mockumentary notes several fan theories regarding the Papas then adding more nonsensical trivia and tidbits just to fuel the flames of the canon lore. Fans acknowledge that this is basically what Ghost is like and has embraced it.

** Before the band's proper formation in 2010, Tobias Forge had envisioned himself as being the guitarist of the band, and was searching for a front man for the group. After the overnight success of their demos, when they signed with their label, they told Tobias he'd be the front man. The rest is history.

So people doing drawings like that about what they want to do with the band, I think that is a great compliment. And it gives us the approval knowing that we’re doing something right. And it’s fun.

* AscendedFanon: The nicknames of the Eras I, II and III, Ether and Fire Ghoul - Omega and Alpha respectively - are these. They were the only ones, with the exception of the Swiss Army Multi-Ghoul whose name is adopted by the music crew, to have been named onstage. The rest were simply introduced as Ghoul.

** [[spoiler:Papa Nihl's death during A Final Gig Called Death was originally [[DarkerAndEdgier far worse]] than him simply collapsing onstage; a leaked set list pic revealed he was originally meant to be killed by the Nameless Ghouls, which would've put [[KlingonPromotion a very different vibe]] on Copia's ascension to the rank of Papa Emeritus IV.]]

Unfortunately, there were some [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAJF0y7GFqU&feature=youtu.be&t=10m13s contractual disputes]] with the series' director which prevented them from being released. Tobias noted that it's supposedly the best of the series. Although no filmed footage was found, there were some photos floating online showing Papa Emeritus II in posing for his scenes.
