* WhatCouldHaveBeen: The show was originally going to be just U.S. Acres, but networks refused to pick it up, so they added Garfield.

** The show was broadcast in Finland in a format that dropped the U.S. Acres segments but kept the opening titles. It was bizarre having characters in the titles that never appeared in the show. Considering what happend in their dub of the episode "Peace and Quiet" (where Binky sings off key) and that "Wanted: Wade" had a scene where Wade does a "song" which is a rap with him talking instead of singing as if it were GoAnimate, it could have been a lot worse.

** It also had a subplot involving Jon trying to pitch comics to a visitng expert that wasn't in the original strips.

* CowboyBebopAtHisComputer and CommonKnowledge Combined: Many people believe that in the episode "Wanted: Wade", Wade rips a tag off of Orson's pillow. The confusion comes from a reccuring mistake in the episode that occurs right after the song sequence where the characters (including Wade himself) say it's a pillow he ripped it off of. Due to this, many people (including fans of the show themselves who have watched the episode and even the official Garfield website say this is true.
* CowboyBebopAtHisComputer: Canadian Zap2It listings for the show omit the word "The" from the title of the U.S. Acres segment "The Impractical Joker", and mispell the episode name of "Fortune Kooky" as "Fortune Cookie". [[note]]The correct title, Fortune Kooky, is supposed to be a silly misspelling of "fortune cookie". [[/note]]
** Mark Evanier himself made this mistake twice. Temp Trouble was about Aloysius joining the gang [[note]]The episode does involve Aloysius, but Mark forgot to mention Aloysius giving out demerits and Roy and Wade trying to get rid of him. Mark made it seem like it's all about Aloysius permanently joining them, when he was only in three episodes.[[/note]] and said that the whole U.S. Acres cast learned Double-Talking in "Double Trouble Talk."[[note]]Only Roy learned to do it in the actual episode itself.[[/note]]

Justified, as he was an employee of Paws, Inc. (Jim Davis's company) who apparently was meant to be a stand-in voice, but did such a great job they didn't want to replace him.
