** In the ''Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception'' LP, Chip states that there's a trophy for hitting a {{mook}} with a fish during the marketplace brawl in Chapter 10, named "[[{{Pun}} Call a Sturgeon]]". The trophy actually requires you to hit ''three'' mooks with a fish, and is instead named "He's Gonna Need a Sturgeon".
** Chip expresses his opinion in the ''Watch_Dogs'' LP that none of the Privacy Invasions are actually about good people - they're all either horrible people or are good people suffering. While he admitted that he'd never finished them all, there are in fact several Privacy Invasions that aren't ''completely'' depressing, such as a father letting his daughter dress him up and a mother defending her daughter from a homophobic radio host.
** Later on, in episode 17, Chip misidentifies a licensed song that plays as an Music/{{NWA}} song - it's actually Music/WuTangClan's "Cream."

* IKnewIt: Ironicus has a knack for predicting certain plot twists, like [[spoiler:Luka's betrayal]] in ''VideoGame/TheWonderful101''. Several of his predictions are incorrect, but still end up getting echoed by the characters in-game, such as both him and Sam speculating that Avery's crew wasted all their treasure money on elaborate death traps in ''VideoGame/Uncharted4AThiefsEnd''.

** At the end of the ''Metal Gear Solid V'' Let's Play, both make it clear that they regret their casual ableism in their earlier Let's Plays, with Chip wishing that he could go back and edit those parts out.

** A lot of the duo's commentary and side-videos regarding ''Uncharted 2'', recorded in 2011/2012, was dedicated to mocking [[Website/BlipTV Blip.tv]], which at the time of that LP was the Let's Play subforum's preferred video host. They noted that none of that has particularly aged well by the time they got around to ''Uncharted 3'' in 2014, some time after Blip had purged itself of all video game-related content before shutting down entirely in 2015.
** A more minor example they haven't commented on is in regards to the ''VideoGame/{{Metal Gear Solid 3|SnakeEater}}'' LP, at one point in which Chip reads a comment making fun of the duo the LP had received on Viddler - another video-hosting site that was preferred on the subforum because it wasn't [=YouTube=] and is at least still around another decade on, but which entirely shifted focus to business-related videos just a year or two after that LP.
** Due to recording much of the ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolidV'' commentary months in advance, many of Chip and Ironicus' jokes have this effect. For example, in the second episode they briefly talk about the then-recent announcement of ''VideoGame/MetalGearSurvive''. Said episode was actually posted on May 22nd, 2018, three months after ''Survive'' was released.
