* CrossDressingVoices: Played straight with Naruto, Boruto and all the child and young characters in both the original Japanese and most foreign dubs, English incluided, with a rather odd exception in the Korean dub: adult Naruto is voiced by a male voice actor, in this case, Creator/UmSanghyun, better known for non-Korean viewers as the voice of both [[Franchise/{{Tekken}} Hwoarang and Baek Doo-san]], rather than his previous voice actress, Lee Seong-ju.[[note]]The reason why this is odd is because, with very few exceptions, South Korean dubs seems to use female voice actresses when voicing kids or teens, and keep them all their life, something that already happened in the Korean dubs of ''Franchise/DragonBall'' and ''Manga/OnePiece'', both having protagonists voiced by women in the original Japanese versions, being ''Boruto'' a break on this habit.[[/note]]

* IKnewIt:
** The fact that [[spoiler: Sumire]] was behind the ghost attacks was guessed by several people before Episode 13 confirmed it.
** Several fans correctly predicted that [[spoiler:Onoki, the Third Tsuchikage,]] would die in the Mitsuki Disappearance arc.

** White Zetsu was recast on both fronts for his clone's appearance. Creator/NobuoTobita was replaced by Creator/AtsushiAbe in Japanese and Creator/TravisWillingham was replaced by Aaron [=LaPlante=] in English.
** Creator/KyleMcCarley continues to be the voice of Iruka Umino in English due to [[Creator/QuintonFlynn Quinton Flynn's]] busy schedule with video game voiceover, as the same applies for Creator/MatthewMercer continuing in [[Creator/TroyBaker Troy Baker's]] stead as Yamato. Sascha Alexander has also permanently taken on Karui due to Danielle Nicolet's focus on live-action projects.[[note]]Nicolet herself was the other darrin to Creator/CindyRobinson, who'd voiced Karui in her debut.[[/note]] On the Japanese side, there's Creator/ToaYukinari continuing to voice Karin after Kanako Tojō got married and moved overseas to focus on her family life. Plus Aoi Inase is now firmly Tamaki after her original actress, Ayano Ishikawa, quit acting in 2016 to pursuit painting.

* BTeamSequel: As stated above, Kishimoto only supervises, it is written by Ukyō Kodachi and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto. Kodachi was the author of ''[[LightNovel/GaaraHidenASandstormMirage Gaara Hiden: A Sandstorm Mirage]]'' and co-author of ''Anime/BorutoNarutoTheMovie''. Ikemoto was an assistant to Kishimoto for the past 15 years. ** As 0f 25 March 2023, the anime went on another hiatus ending with the episode 293.

* SeriesHiatus: Due to the shutdowns caused by the UsefulNotes/COVID19Pandemic this anime, alongside others like ''Manga/BlackClover'' and the ''Manga/AttackOnTitan'' manga had to miss their scheduled releases from May to June 2020. The ''Boruto'' anime resumed its normal broadcast schedule in July 2020.
