Names The Same is no longer a trope

* NamesTheSame:
** A curious case of DubNameChange of the Italian and German dubs. In the German dub, Kozue is known as Mila, while in Italy is Mimi; however, the name of Mila is also used in Italy, but for You Hazuki, the heroine of ''Anime/AttackerYou'', another volleyball anime that the Italian dub had linked to ''Attack No. 1'' by stating their versions of Kozue and You were cousins.
** An inverted case happened with ''Manga/AttackOnTomorrow'', whose main character was named Mimi in Japanese, yet the Italian dub didn't bother to change it to avoid confusions with the Mimi from ''Attack No. 1''.

* [[HeAlsoDid She Also Did]]: Aside from her role as Kozue, Kurumi Kobato, the character's original voice actress, is best known for her live-action work and music career (she actually recorded a version of the opening theme song, though it was only used for the first five episodes before the show switched to a cover by ''anison'' legend Kumiko Osugi). Similar to Creator/FumiHirano in ''Manga/UruseiYatsura'', Kobato's voice-acting career curiously consists of one major role (Kozue) and just a handful of smaller roles.

* MissingEpisode: In the Italian and German dubs, three episodes were not translated, due to "inappropiate content". These however are included as bonus on the German DVD sets.
* NamesTheSame: A curious case of DubNameChange of the Italian and German dubs. In the German dub Kozue is known as Mila and that name is also used by the Italian dub, but not for Kozue (who is instead known as Mimì) but for You, the heroine of ''Anime/AttackerYou'', another volleyball anime.
* NoExportForYou: The series never got released on DVD in the US. Contrast this with Germany, where all the episodes got released (and the first set even replaced after complaints about the video quality).
