** Early promotional materials refer to Joey as having the superhero title of Nuclear Boy (reused from Mookie's original title), with the Atomic Puppet title only referring to AP himself. However, he's never referred to this in the series proper and instead he and AP are treated as a singular Atomic Puppet, suggesting the "Nuclear Boy" title was dropped during the development process.

* PropRecycling: An old woman with shades and a cane who appears as a background character in several episodes had previously appeared in the pilot of ''WesternAnimation/{{Fangbone}}'', which was also animated by Creator/MercuryFilmworks.

* ScrewedByTheNetwork: Creator/DisneyXD showed no kindness to this series, which they pretty much only used to randomly replace ''WesternAnimation/{{Fangbone}}'' after its first 13 episodes (and after ''that show'' had been used the same way to ''WesternAnimation/CounterfeitCat''). They threw it into a single mid-afternoon weekday slot where new episodes were aired as quickly as possible with zero promotion (the series wasn't even mentioned at all on Disney XD's official website) and often OutOfOrder. After July 2016 was over, the show was quickly removed from the lineup despite still having 13 more episodes to air and did not return until February 2017 after Disney XD suddenly brought back ''Counterfeit Cat'' to burn off the remainder of the series. These final 13 episodes were treated the exact same as before, and once the final episode of Season 1 aired, it was quickly pulled off the channel with no indication of reruns or a second season, to be replaced with ''Fangbone!'', which suffered the same miserable fate.
