* Webcomic/PrincessPrincess: Amira and Sadie, respectively. The former is a short-haired, sword-wielding hero who always wears a military uniform and rescues princesses, the latter a rather stereotypical princess classic who's the picture of traditional femininity, always clad in a dress with long hair.

Miscategorized - Whateley Academy is a serial novel series, not a webcomic

* Literature/WhateleyUniverse: Roommates Tennyo (Billie Wilson) and Generator (Jade Sinclair) at Whateley Academy. Billie is a tomboy who likes fishing, and was wearing jeans and flannel shirts at the start of the school year. Jade is the kind of girl who still wears Hello Kitty and Barbie clothes and has stuffed animals around. On the other hand, given what she can make those stuffed animals do.

* Webcomic/EvilDiva: Michelle and Diva respectively. As a point of reference, Michelle is grossed out when in a skirt or dress; Diva's main complaint when Brinson was away is how uncute she was drawn.
* Webcomic/FromAKnightToALady: Tomboy Estelle to girly Lucifela. Given Lucifela's consciousness is currently subdued, however, Estelle-in-Lucifela's-body forms a pair of sorts like this with Florence.
* Webcomic/GirlsNextDoor: Sarah to Christine. Both are very much competent in their own right, but Sarah favors the most direct approach, while Christine prefers more subtle manipulation.
* Webcomic/MissingMonday: Foyle is a trousers-wearing WrenchWench with BoyishShortHair who is impulsive and risk-taking. Monday's hair is a lot longer and more feminine, she acts tactfully and demurely, wears nice dresses and spends some time as .

* Webcomic/JODDASVAPD: Jen is the tomboy of the group being the most athletic of the five female characters and the least ladylike too. One arc has her struggle with the notion that NoGuyWantsAnAmazon.
** The other four girls, Ophelia, Vanilla, Alice, and Alma by comparison are naturally more feminine in looks and demeanor.

to:

* Webcomic/CrystalFighters: Stella and Jessica. Stella is a tomboy who likes fighting games and is delighted when she discovers that the supposedly cute, family friendly game her parents have given her has a hidden side to it in the form of an underground fight club. Jessica, on the other hand, is very girly and is content to play Crystal Fighters in the way its creators intended.
* Webcomic/Heartcore: Well, Ame isn't exactly tomboyish, but she's definitely an ActionGirl, whereas her sister Sukina is demure and generally a non-combatant.

* Webcomic/TwoKinds: Flora is a tomboy, Kathrin, and Laura are girly girls. Adelaide seems to have gotten a happy medium between the two.

* Gogo and Didi (respectively) of Webcomic/Bomango. Gogo is a BoisterousBruiser who is unhygienic and very comfortable with doing gross things (a trait associated with young boys). Didi is a LipstickLesbian with a very perky personality and wears nice dresses.
* Webcomic/ElGoonishShive: Catalina and Rhoda. Catalina is a FieryRedHead who swears frequently and Rhoda is a sensitive ShrinkingViolet.
* Webcomic/Frivolesque: Best friend characters Chloe and Marie-Neige. The former is an easy going short haired geek girl always seen wearing jeans and T-Shirts. The latter is much more feminine, with long hair and girlier tastes in clothing.
* Sasha and Iphigenie from Literature/GreekNinja. Also Sasha and Eleonora to some extent.
* Webcomic/GunnerkriggCourt: Kat and Antimony, with the slight variation that tomboyish Kat is much more open emotionally (and more visibly interested in boys), while girly-girl Annie is quite proficient at lock picking (and judo). But Kat has no idea how to put on makeup, while Annie has visible lipstick and eyeshadow almost all the time. They become friends by necessity, as Annie was the NewTransferStudent with NoSocialSkills and Kat was ostracized by her peers for being the rather nerdy daughter of two teachers. It helps that their parents were close childhood friends.
* Webcomic/Homestuck:
** Humans Rose and Jade; trolls Terezi, Vriska, and Nepeta to Kanaya, Feferi, and Aradia. Kanaya is especially notable since trolls lost interest in fashion eons ago. It should be noted, though, that all of the "tomboys" are at least somewhat girly.
** [[spoiler: Jane to Roxy, and Latula, Damara and Meenah to Meulin, Porrim, and Aranea.]]
%%* Webcomic/KevinAndKell: As Coney and Lin grew older they started to fall into this dynamic...which upsets Coney because she feels they're growing apart because of it.
* Webcomic/LastRes0rt:
** A team variant occurs, with the tomboy Team Andromeda (Jigsaw and Daisy are both strong characters, and Daisy's a Mad Scientist to boot) and the girly Team Gemini (Even though Slick's a guy, he's still pretty effeminate, and Addy is... a blonde princess with pink fur.)
** Miho (GamerChick slash DarkMagicalGirl) and Ping (literally hardwired to be cute and girly) also fit this trope...except when Miho is angsting about her relationship with Piro, or when Ping is committing extreme acts of violence.
* Webcomic/MenageA3:
** Zii and [=DiDi=], roommates and friends () fit this pattern to an extent. Zii is TheLadette; [=DiDi=] has a fuller figure (to say the least) and domestic qualities.
** Wrestling TagTeam Maura and Tess are both quite feminine, but while Tess has short (blue) hair and a slightly more cool-headed and pragmatic attitude, Maura is a bubbly blonde with a runaway "competitive flirting instinct".
* In Webcomic/StickyDillyBuns, ShrinkingViolet Ramona tends to play the girly-girl role next to her HotBlooded sister Angel, who isn't so much a tomboy as very gender fluid -- admittedly becoming highly feminine in her female moments. Ramona does tend to "girly" details such as hair bows, whereas even at her most feminine, Angel adopts a more restrained LittleBlackDress look.
* Webcomic/M9Girls: Karla and Vero. They are best friends; Karla is the girly girl, with her fashionista and ValleyGirl attitude, while Vero is the tomboy with her snarky attitude and tomboyish clothes.
* : Emily and Missie are both pretty tomboyish, but Emily has long hair, often wears relatively feminine clothing, was a popular girl, and has only recently gotten into mechanics, while Missie has shorter hair, usually wears overalls, and has been a skilled mechanic for years. While initially romantic rivals over Ash, they're both members of Team Misfile, and later bond and become friends.
* : Lenore is a short-haired, scrappy ButchLesbian. Her LoveInterest, Annabel Lee, is an elegant, glamorous LipstickLesbian. Noticeably, Annabel Lee's uniform includes a skirt, while Lenore's uniform has pants.
** Lenore's roommate Morella is a sweet, timid girly girl. She also wears a skirt as part of her uniform.
%%* Webcomic/TheOrderOfTheStick Haley and Celia. In addition, their love interests are a SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan, respectively.
* Webcomic/Pacificators:
%%** Taffe and Larima. It's lampshaded several times by different people.
** Muneca and Cinna. It's actually one of things which cause problems between them - Cinna thinks Muneca is too uptight and 'prudent and fancy,' whereas Muneca thinks Cinna should learn manners and develop 'refined tastes.'
* Webcomic/PennyAndAggie: The title characters: Penny is AlphaBitch while Aggie is a GranolaGirl.
* In ComicStrip/PreTeena, protagonist Teena is not that interested in her looks or clothes (she mostly wears a plain white t-shirt and blue jeans) and has a rather short haircut. And that is enough for the twins next door to keep mistaking her for a boy. Her sister Jeri is a wannabe AlphaBitch with a more "girly" look (including a more feminine wardrobe, long hair, earrings and makeup).
* Webcomic/TheSenkari has Rachel and Freija being the girly girl and the tomboy to a certain degree, though aside from her taste in clothes Rachel is also a bit of a Tomboy.
* Heartful Punch and Undine of Webcomic/SleeplessDomain gradually fall into this dynamic. As her name implies, HP is a brawler well known for fighting solo, her lunches are all health and energy foods to provide ass-kicking energy, and she leads an exercise and training club of fellow Magical Girls. In contrast, Undine is much more quiet, prefers to play peacemaker, and on her original team her role was primarily support. Their personality-reflecting magical girl forms are, respectively, a sporty, short skirt with a ScarfOfAsskicking and a frillier dress featuring decorative bows with hair turning into girlish curls. Contrary to the dynamic, Heartful Punch's uniform and hair are pink while Undine's are blue.
* Sun Jing from Webcomic/TheirStory is a tall, tomboyish girl who always dresses in masculine attire outside of school (and even then she wears a tie instead of a bowtie). She has a crush on the resident GirlyGirl Qiu Tong.
* In Webcomic/YokokasQuest, as the tomboy of the party, Yokoka wears whatever pants and shirt she's given, has no accessories beyond her ribbon weapon, and does nothing with her hair. She likes to fight, though she does also like to hug. In contrast as the girly girl, Grace wears makeup and skirts, accessorizes with a handbag, bracelet, and a variety of earrings, styles her hair in multiple ways, and is happy to help Yokoka with her attire and hair for a wedding. Grace has shown no interest in fighting, and would rather learn about the world of Cisum.
