* We see why Lewis had such a look of regret on his face at the end of the last video. When he was looking at Arthur falling, he ''flashed back to when it happened to him'', realizing that he was NotSoDifferent in his revenge quest.

* In the final screen cut that shows everyone at once, Lewis ''[[MyGodWhatHaveIDone immediately]]'' [[[[MyGodWhatHaveIDone regrets]] dropping Arthur, anger turning to confusion as his heart cracks all over. Paired with Arthur's absolute look of betrayal, it's heart-wrenching.

* The ending. While Arthur, Vivi, and Mystery make it out okay, Lewis is heartbroken. He looks into his heart, which functions as a locket, and looks at a picture of him and Vivi back when he was alive and they were happy. Looking like his old self, Lewis sheds a tear and vanishes along with the mansion.

* Arthur's condition can be hard to watch. He looks absolutely exhausted, and not only is he being targeted by an angry ghost who is the vengeful spirit of Arthur's friend whom he inadvertently killed, but he's having hallucinations about losing his arm and seeing Mystery's true form, either from lack of sleep or intense feelings of guilt. No wonder the poor guy is a nervous wreck.
** Not only that. Judging by the map on his screen, Arthur doesn't remember Lewis' death. He and Vivi have been searching desperately for a friend that not only isn't "around" anymore, but also hates the former's guts.
** With a little bit of fridge-heartwarming in addition, but looking at the picture on Arthur's laptop that Vivi is subconsciously editing Lewis out of, that's not in any program. You look close and you see it's on his ''desktop''. Even after Lewis's "disappearance", whether he actually does remember the truth or not, he may still consider Lewis a friend... and that same friend now wants him dead.
** The fact that Vivi seems to be subconsciously editing out Lewis from her and Arthur's life is disturbing. The trauma is so bad for both of them that they are literally trying to forget about Lewis subconsciously but are actively still looking for him in what amounts to a fruitless quest is heart wrenching. In Arthur's case, he doesn't seem to realize that the end game here is finding the ghost again and getting killed. [[DeathSeeker Or maybe that's the point.]]

* Arthur gets captured by Lewis and brought to what seems to be either an illusory version of or ''the'' place where he killed his friend while possessed... and as Lewis holds Arthur over the pit, ''[[InternalReveal his face reconstitutes on his skull,]]'' prompting Arthur to gain a horrified expression and though we can't hear his voice it's very clear from the lip flaps what he's saying. Then Lewis drops him and Arthur is too shocked to even register the fall.

** Made even worse with the final screen cut that shows everyone at once: Lewis is ''[[MyGodWhatHaveIDone immediately regretful.]]''
** Look even more closely and you can see that Lewis' heart is ''blacked out and completely shattered''. Not even his grief at being separated from Vivi again at the end of ''Ghost'' ruined his heart that utterly.
** It's likely that when Lewis saw Arthur say his name, he realized that ''Arthur had no idea that he was dead, or that Arthur had killed him''. It takes him a moment, but he suddenly understands as Arthur is falling towards the spikes that it was AllForNothing. Instead of seeing a look of guilt or a realization of karmic justice in Arthur's face, all he sees is that Arthur just looks ''betrayed''.

* The video kicks off with Arthur's "Lewis?" from [[PreviouslyOn the previous video]], but with a new twist: it's [[SuddenlyVoiced voiced]]. It is ''every bit'' as horrified and heartbroken as you'd expect.
* Poor Lewis. If his MyGodWhatHaveIDone reaction to letting Arthur fall into his pit of spikes wasn't bad enough, the tears he cries upon seeing the group shot in his pendant will tear you apart.

** Considering that Vivi and Arthur [[LaserGuidedAmnesia lost some of their memories]] of Lewis and his death, it could be interpreted that Lewis forgot that Arthur was also his friend, and not just the person who killed him. Lewis was trying to kill one of his friends in a {{Roaring Rampage Of Revenge}}...''and may have had no idea until it was too late''.
* Shiromori's death is far more melancholy than you'd expect for such a bloodthirsty psychopathic spirit. Not only does her reactions to Mystery [[NotWorthKilling protecting her]] [[IfYouKillHimYouWillBeJustLikeHim from Vivi]] then abandoning her yet again bring about a sense of longing followed by rage, but Vivi landing the killing blow leaves her reaching out for Mystery with a horrified look on her face like she's dreading what's coming. It almost makes you feel bad for her if not for how mercilessly violent she was just moments ago.
** As Vivi lunges forward to land the final blow, Shiromori turns around from looking at Mystery's body, [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone and there's a tear in her eye]].
** What makes it doubly tragic is that it's clear Mystery largely spared her because he feels [[ItsAllMyFault guilty about]] [[MyGreatestFailure his previous mistreatment of her]] - after getting Vivi to back down, he glances at Shiromori with regret written all over his face. Sadly, however, his attempt to make things right just wasn't enough for Shiromori...
** Shiromori isn't the only one horrified either, while Mystery's laying there he can only watch the events with looks of regret and terror on his face. Whether it be Shiromori's death,Vivi being the one to strike Shiromori down, or both, the situation clearly pushes Mystery past his breaking point.
* When Shiromori lands a deadly blow to Vivi, [[CanineCompanion Mystery]] goes [[RageBreakingPoint utterly ballistic]] and charges Shiromori with the intent to kill, only to get fatally wounded as a result. It seems by the end he's given into his wounds and passes away as Vivi tries to comfort him and stop the bleeding. This only makes the DemonicPossession that follows even harder to watch.
* Like the rest of the songs, ''Future'' is mostly upbeat... except for the chorus, which is far more somber and melancholic.

It seems by the end he's given into his wounds and passes away as Vivi tries to comfort him and stop the bleeding. This only makes the DemonicPossession that follows even harder to watch.
