Did you ever really think that I'd become someone you'd call your enemy

As a Moments subpage, spoilers are unmarked. You have been warned.

Ghost

  • While Arthur, Vivi, and Mystery make it out okay, Lewis is heartbroken. He looks into his heart, which functions as a locket, and looks at a picture of him and Vivi back when he was alive and they were happy. Looking like his old self, Lewis sheds a tear and vanishes along with the mansion.
  • Arthur and Vivi's collective Despair Event Horizon upon witnessing Lewis's death in the flashback.

Freaking Out

  • Arthur's condition can be hard to watch. He looks absolutely exhausted, and not only is he being targeted by an angry ghost who is the vengeful spirit of Arthur's friend whom he inadvertently killed, but he is actively searching for said friend, not even realizing he's dead.

Hellbent

  • Arthur gets captured by Lewis and brought to an illusory version of the cliffside where he pushed him off. As Lewis holds Arthur over the pit, his face reconstitutes on his skull, prompting Arthur to gain a horrified expression and though we can't hear his voice, it's very clear from the lip flaps what he's saying. Then Lewis drops him and Arthur is too shocked to even register the fall.
    Arthur: Lewis?
  • In the final screen cut that shows everyone at once, Lewis immediately regrets dropping Arthur, anger turning to confusion as his heart cracks all over. Paired with Arthur's absolute look of betrayal, it's heart-wrenching.

The Future

  • The video kicks off with Arthur's "Lewis?" from the previous video, but with a new twist; it's voiced. It is every bit as horrified and heartbroken as you'd expect.
  • We see why Lewis had such a look of regret on his face at the end of the last video. When he was looking at Arthur falling, he flashed back to when it happened to him, realizing that he was not so different in his revenge quest.
  • When Lewis takes his heart back from Arthur and sees the picture inside changed from just him and Vivi to all four of them, back before everything happened and they were all happy, Lewis bursts into tears and falls to his knees.
  • Shiromori's death is far more melancholy than you'd expect for such a bloodthirsty, psychopathic spirit. Not only does her reactions to Mystery protecting her from Vivi then abandoning her yet again bring about a sense of longing followed by rage, but Vivi landing the killing blow leaves her reaching out for Mystery with a horrified look on her face like she's dreading what's coming. What makes it doubly tragic is that it's clear Mystery largely spared her because he feels guilty about his previous mistreatment of her - after getting Vivi to back down, he glances at Shiromori with regret written all over his face.
  • As Vivi lunges forward to land the final blow, Shiromori turns around from looking at Mystery, and there's a tear in her eye. Mystery himself can only watch the events with looks of regret and terror on his face. Whether it be Shiromori's death, Vivi being the one to strike her down, or both, the situation clearly pushes Mystery far past his breaking point.
  • When Shiromori lands a brutal blow to Vivi, Mystery goes utterly ballistic and charges Shiromori with the intent to kill, only to get fatally wounded as a result. It seems by the end he's given into his wounds and passes away, Vivi trying to stop the bleeding before crying into his body. This only makes the Demonic Possession that follows even harder to watch.

Losing My Mind

  • Arthur, right before the events of "Ghost", is a wreck. He'd been barely eating or sleeping for days, playing it off like it was no big deal. He's also not over his amputation, cowering when he sees Mystery's teeth.
