********This is coming from someone who [[AspergersSyndrome almost literally with a few exceptions]] cannot cry at real life tear jerkers, (such as a relative dying or a neighborhood nearby burning down) and broke down sobbing for a half hour after this episode. Also, the image in the link doesn't work anymore. Also, it would have been less [[TearJerker Tear Jerker]] and more insanely creepy if it was his mother. Then again... yeah. It would have been a bit creepy with the slightly insane laughter and holding the corpse, but it also would have been heart breaking with some other scenes.

*******Oh god, that episode makes me sad no matter what because I love dogs and seeing this crushes it to the point where I got tears down to my chest. And this is coming from someone who sees Ghost and Roach die and only says "Fuck you, Sheperd" before tossing a knife into his eye.

*** A moment which is tearjerking in a heartbreaking way is when Leela thinks her arents are her parents' murderers and is about to kill them, and they just accept it. In particular the line "That would be best". They're so ashamed of what they are, they'd rather Leela killed them than found out the truth.

Basically, try to refrain from labelling real people Complete Monsters. There is a reason that there are no Real Life examples of the trope listed. Troll fits more into the general describtion.

Subjective trope, people.

** Really? Fry was portrayed as being obnoxious and blind that whole time; it seemed more like a "good riddance" kind of ending, especially with this joke:
-->'''Lucy Liu-bot:''' I'll... ''always'' remember you, Fry... MEMORY DELETED! ''*shuts off*''

** That seemed to be mostly a parody of these kinds of moments. I thought it was too silly to be anything other than funny.
