Stacey actively pulls strings in order to get Max and Roxanne together after she notices the look on Roxanne's face, pushes away another girl who tried hitting on Max saying, "Forget it, girl! He's Roxanne's!" and gives Bobby a DeathGlare when he makes a comment that suggests Max lied to Roxanne (which he did, but that's not the point).

* In ''WesternAnimation/IceAgeTheMeltdown'', Manny thinks that he is [[LastOfHisKind the last mammoth on earth]]. Until he encounters Ellie, who is a [[ObliviousAdoption mammoth that thinks]] [[CloudcuckooLander she's a possum.]] In short, Manny isn't particularly keen to travel with her and her "brothers". Sid and Diego though see a chance for Manny in that.

Ray shows up and quickly creates a SheIsNotMyGirlfriend moment, and soon he and Louis team up to create a really romantic dance number for the duo. Then Mama Odie shows up and quickly catches on, eventually being the one who marries the couple.]]

Little John advises Robin different ways to romance Marian and when ordering Prince John at knifepoint to release Robin, Little John tries to make it a royal decree for Robin and Marian to kiss. And every townsfolk cheer for the couple when they arrive at Sherwood Forest.

* Subtle example in ''WesternAnimation/SpiderManIntoTheSpiderVerse'' as on the bus ride, Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy are getting cozy while the older Peter B. Parker is seemly sleeping. Then it cuts to Peter, who's actually wide awake listening to their convo with a big smile on his face. You can even interpret this deeper as Gwen likely died in Peter's universe (considering he's an offshoot of [[PrimeTimeline Earth-616]]'s Spider-Man), implying he's glad to at least see a different version of her find love.

* Griselda from ''WesternAnimation/StrangeMagic'' ships her son [[EvilOverlord the Bog King]]/anyone, so she's quick to hop on [[BelligerentSexualTension Bog/Marianne]]. [[spoiler: Her attempt to make them fall in love with tacky romantic decorating works unexpectedly well since the two of them bond over how much they hate it.]]

** [[spoiler: When Luigi was interrogated by Bowser about Mario, the latter asks the former whether princesses like Peach find Mario attractive, in which Luigi responds with "They do if they have good taste!", which is a minor sass comment to Bowser in a way, as if he is saying, "You, trying to get together with her? When Felix and Calhoun [[LoveAtFirstPunch first meet]], the marines are [[FunnyBackgroundEvent glancing at each other and smirking knowingly.]] Also, in the epilogue, [[spoiler: during Calhoun and Felix's wedding, the soldiers all actively ensure they get a happy ending, compared to Calhoun's previous romance.]]

* Genie in ''WesternAnimation/{{Aladdin}}'' ships Aladdin and Jasmine, to the point where he is willing to give up his freedom to see them together:

* ''WesternAnimation/Frozen2013'' has Kristoff's adoptive family of trolls shipping him and Anna -- with an entire song about why Anna should choose Kristoff. They don't even care when they find out she's engaged to someone else and proceed to try and marry them on the spot anyway. * Margot from ''WesternAnimation/RubyGillmanTeenageKraken''. At first she's surprised when Ruby told her she'll invite Connor for prom, but Margot quickly accept it, while giving her a confeti canon to propuse Connor. Later on the movie, when Connor asked her about Ruby's whereabouts, she noticed a rose on his backpack with Ruby's name on it. And after the battle with Nerissa and Ruby recognized with her friends, Margot looks excited when Ruby talks to Connor.
