Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger) is a high school sophomore whose life takes an unexpected turn when she discovers a powerful staff of cosmic power and learns her step-father [[ComicBook/StarsAndSTRIPE Pat]] (Creator/LukeWilson) used to be the sidekick of famed superhero ComicBook/{{Starman}} (Creator/JoelMcHale).
