* JerkassVictim: A lot of Fran and Jamie's targets are unpleasant people who garner little sympathy when it comes time for the pair to dispatch them, including a corrupt banker, a drug-dealing DJ, a psychotic escaped mental patient.
* MinionWithAnFInEvil: Jamie, who's an assassin working for a brutal gangster, is cheerful and childish and loves to strike up conversations with her targets.
* OddCouple: Fran is a depressive realist while Jamie is a bubbly optimist. Nevertheless, they've been best friends since childhood.
* OfCourseISmoke: Fran takes a cigarette offered by Nikhail and keeps puffing away despite clearly not being a smoker, because she wants to impress him and get in good with Mr. K.
* TroublingUnchildlikeBehavior: While lost in a forest, Fran comes across a group of Girl Guides, the youngest of whom threatens her with a knife.
