Marvel cut ties with him not Netflix. Either the Trivia page is lying, or this page is, when it comes to the fanbase size of Julie and the phantoms. The page for the sbhow implies the cancellation was due to the three series' it had was made to be that long, not that Netflix refused to renew it; in fact the Trivia page for the show itself explicitly states this!, and that it ran for three series anyway.

* ''Series/WhiteRabbitProject'' was taken out the back of the shed and shot. Negotiations between Netflix and the crew failed, and despite fan demand at the time, the show remains dead.
* The Netflix Marvel shows (''Series/{{Daredevil|2015}}'', ''Series/{{Jessica Jones|2015}}'', ''Series/{{Luke Cage|2016}}'', ''Series/{{Iron Fist|2017}}'', ''Series/{{The Defenders|2017}}'', and ''Series/{{The Punisher|2017}}'') were cancelled due to the impending launch of Disney+, which basically meant the shows were going to be a revenue stream competitor. Speculation also exists that Netflix tried to sabotage the shows by scaling back the show's marketing campaigns, but nothing concrete on that front. It's also suspected that the shows' main producer Jeph Loeb was very hard to work with until Netflix cut ties with him for his behaviour, with several horror stories about his time at Marvel.
* ''Series/TheDarkCrystalAgeOfResistance'', a hit show based on comparatively obscure and [[Film/TheDarkCrystal cult classic movie]], was canceled after only one season. Netflix waited over a year to announce the cancellation, most likely to avoid embarrassment submitting a cancelled series for that years' Emmys (which it won).
* Although Jeff Pinkner teased plans of a potential second season, [[https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/cowboy-bebop-canceled-netflix-1235060256/ Hollywood Report reported]] that Neflix had cancelled the ''Series/CowboyBebop2021'' live-action remake on December 9, 2021. What's especially notable about this is that this came ''two weeks'' after the show had premiered on the service, and considering that Netflix has a reputation to give shows at least two seasons before making such decisions, it's quite surprising they came to this decision. [[HarsherInHindsight Unfortunately]], less than a ''mere day'' later, Keiko Nobumoto, the writer for the original Anime, tragically passed away, [[FromBadToWorse which only added further to the bad news]]. Needless to say, this gave fans much more of a reason to stay away from the series.
* ''Series/JulieAndThePhantoms'' was an 8-episode hit on the streaming platform with a HUGE fan base that remained active for a full year while waiting for renewal. When it was finally announced (by the series creator, not the network, the day before a fan convention) petitions immediately started up to get it picked up by another streaming network, with many feeling that Netflix had led them and the cast on only to disappoint them without formally giving a reason for cancellation.

While Netflix are known for making original shows that have at least two seasons (their business model of not pandering to advertisers is key in this regard; It's rare for a series on the service to have one season, since the service depends less on ratings and more on simple pure subscription numbers for its money, they're quite a bit more motivated to ensure their original programming has decent closure, even if a show has to end before the crew is ready). Nevertheless, it too cancels shows like any other Network TV studio does for a variety of reasons (it simply wasn't popular, online controversy, deals falling through or being cancelled and more):

Some examples simply do not belong on here; To quote the main page: "This is about intentional sabotage (or at the least making decisions so stupid it looks like it was intentional), not "the mean network executives canceled my favorite show""". Way to screw up the Of Mice and Men reference, and I clouldn't find any source to back up the WRB claims other than "negotiations failed, which isn't helpful". Degrassi has never been officially cancelled, and the tweet on the main page is incredibly misleading as none of them on the panel mention it being dead, more like an "extended hiatus" sort of deal. One Day at at time is not a valid entry; misconstruing "we did everything we could" with "just renew it" is severely simplifying network negotiations. Netflix did not screw with carebears, by the paragraph's own admission!. Tuca and Bertie was advertised a decently fair amount.

* Netflix announced that ''Series/Sense8'' would not be renewed for a third season due to low ratings that didn't justify the show's massive budget (at least $9 million per episode). In response, fans created petitions and a hashtag calling for the show to be uncancelled, as well as threats to cancel their Netflix subscriptions en-masse. The backlash did succeed to some extent - although Netflix wouldn't green-light a third season, they have allowed for a two-hour long special to bring closure to the series[[note]]Since the service depends less on ratings than simply pure subscription numbers for its money, they're very motivated to ensure their original programming will have decent closure even if it has to end before the crew was ready[[/note]]

* Netflix cancelled ''Series/OneDayAtATime2017'', citing low viewership. What made this especially notable was Netflix going on Twitter to claim that they did "everything they could" to give it another season -- except, apparently, for simply renewing it. This earned the network the ire of the show's fans, who blasted the network for the seemingly disingenuous comments. It was rescued by Pop TV....where it was canceled AGAIN.
* ''Series/TheDarkCrystalAgeOfResistance'', a hit show based on a [[Film/TheDarkCrystal cult classic movie]], was canceled after only one season.
