* ''Series/Merlin2008'''s "[[Recap/MerlinS02E07TheWitchfinder The Witchfinder]]": [[ManipulativeBastard Aredian]], the titular [[TheWitchHunter Witchfinder]], is a charlatan out solely to profit off King Uther's hatred of sorcery. Aredian frames innocents as witches and sorcerers, planting evidence and breaking them through physical or psychological torture in order to obtain [[FalseConfession confessions]] before seeing them burnt and moving on. Framing the court physician Gaius, Uther lies to him that his closest loved ones, [[Characters/MerlinTheCharacter Merlin]] and [[Characters/MerlinMorgana Morgana]], will be safe should be confess, only to gloatingly reveal he makes no bargains with "sorcerers", even forcing others to assist him on threat of burning them as well.

** Reichsführer-SS [[FourEyesZeroSoul Heinrich Himmler]], Heydrich's superior, was one of the chief architects behind the Holocaust and Germany's wars of aggression. While part of the recently-named Reich Chancellor Martin Heusmann's war council, Himmler is dismissive of the tens of millions of casualties that would result from the nuclear war of annihilation the Nazis are planning against Japan. Himmler subsequently arrests Heusmann after learning of his murder of Adolf Hitler and to assume power. As Fuehrer, Himmler [[IfYoureSoEvilEatThisKitten forces Joe Blake]] to kill his father to prove his loyalty to the Reich, and has his [[SuperBreedingProgram Lebensborn elite soldiers]] sent out to assassinate ex-Nazi defectors and Japanese politicians, overseeing these soldiers completing their training by killing "subhuman" targets. Himmler has also ordered the construction of an InterdimensionalTravelDevice to conquer neighboring dimensions and authorizes [[PlayingWithSyringes torturous experiments]] on human test subjects, and finally initiates mass riots across the Greater Nazi Reich after having former American monuments destroyed as part of "Jahr Null". Fully convinced of the genocidal and totalitarian policies of National Socialism, Himmler is one of the single worst Nazis depicted in the show.

** "[[Recap/TheOuterLimits1995S5E12Tribunal Tribunal]]": [[NaziGrandpa Karl Rademacher]], during UsefulNotes/TheHolocaust, was the SS commandant of an [[PoWCamp Auschwitz subcamp]] made up to look like a "model" camp for inspections by the Red Cross. When they leave, he usually has the prisoners [[DeadlyGas gassed by the hundreds]]. The episode opens in 1944 as Rademacher makes his daily rounds to select a prisoner to execute in front of the rest, which he considers "the only joy I get from this miserable job". When he selects a random man, the wife begs him not to, so he selects her instead and shoots her in front of her husband and daughter, later having [[WouldHurtAChild the child gassed to death]]. He gives instructions to the prisoners to write letters to their relatives to tell them how wonderful they have it there. When one man objects, Rademacher orders him sent outside and shot, before amending the order so he can personally shoot the prisoner. After the war this unrepentant war criminal lives incognito for many decades in the United States. Rademacher's cruelty and brutality ultimately becomes his own doom when, thanks to a TimeTravel device, he is sent back to his own camp dressed up as an inmate. When his younger version runs into him, he demands that the rowdy old man beg for his life before [[KarmicDeath he kills his older self for being Jewish]].

* ''Series/MarcoPolo'': [[BadassBureaucrat Jia Sidao]], Season 1's BigBad, is the EvilChancellor of the Song Dynasty. He is [[EstablishingCharacterMoment first introduced]] brutally beating the army's general in front of his soldiers before killing him upon [[DisproportionateRetribution hearing rumors that he was insulting his style of kung fu]]. He also shows utter disdain for the Mongols, and when he hears Empress Dowager Xie Daoquing was trying to negotiate a peace treaty with the Mongols, he has her and those who agreed to it murdered, along with her already dying husband, so that their son could become emperor, [[PuppetKing someone easier for him to control]], thus leading to [[DragonAscendant him becoming]] the [[DragonInChief true ruler of the empire]]. With his influence, Sidao has every Mongolian village near the Song Dynasty capital, [[HubCity Xianggang]], [[RapePillageandBurn destroyed, with their people all killed]]. He also holds his sister's daughter hostage so that he can {{blackmail}} her to go assassinate the Mongolian emperor and empress. When he finds out [[YouHaveFailedMe she failed to kill them]], [[WouldHurtAChild he tortures her daughter]] by [[AgonyOfTheFeet binding her feet]] and threatens to kill her if she fails again. When the Mongols attempt to invade Xianggang he uses gunpowder to attack them, with the entire army massacred, causing the Khan to retreat. When the Mongol army succeeds in breaching the walls in their second attempt, Sidao finds Marco Polo, the man who orchestrated this siege, and he makes him suffer, before trying to kill him.

** Seasons 2 & 3: [[WouldHurtAChild Mason Verger]] is the most sickening and twisted opponent [[Characters/HannibalHannibalLecter Hannibal Lecter]] and [[Characters/HannibalWillGraham Will Graham]] ever face. The heir to the [[Characters/HannibalVergerFamily Verger]] meatpacking empire, [[BigBrotherBully Mason]] lords his power over his sister Margo, having abused her physically, mentally, and sexually for many years. Knowing she will be disinherited if Mason dies without an heir, Mason mocks her with an intent to rape her to father that heir. When Margo sleeps with Will Graham in desperation, Mason arranges for her reproductive organs to be removed in the most invasive procedure possible. Mason also emotionally abuses every child he encounters, being a brutal pedophile who also molests some at a summer camp he patrons, so he can collect their tears for his martinis. Upon being paralyzed, and disfigured by Hannibal, Mason grows even worse. [[{{Sadist}} Finding only joy in the suffering of others]], Mason plans to torture Will and Hannibal to death so he might dine upon the latter. Providing his sperm with Margo's eggs, Mason gives her a "surrogate", letting their child grow in the body of a sow so it will die a painful death, just for the sick joy of Margo's anguish.

** "On the Waterfront" [[Recap/MurdochMysteriesS8E1OnTheWaterfrontPart1 two]]-[[Recap/MurdochMysteriesS8E2OnTheWaterfrontPart2 parter]]: [[AWolfInSheepsClothing Cecily McKinnon]] pretends to be a harmless businesswoman, but in reality, she ruthlessly controls Toronto's waterfront through her psychopathic [[CoDragons henchmen]], the O'Shea brothers. When Inspector Brackenreid investigates the extortion and violence on the docks, [=McKinnon=] has the brothers savagely beat him and leave him for dead. When a fellow businessperson uncovers [=McKinnon's=] HumanTrafficking business and tries to stop it, she has him beaten to death and tries to frame him for her own crimes, nearly succeeding in selling off seven innocent women into a life of slavery. When Brackenreid confronts [=McKinnon=], she is utterly shameless about her atrocities, making a final attempt to murder him before being subdued. Hiding her monstrous nature beneath a benign facade, [=McKinnon=] stands out as one of the most callous and heinous criminals ever faced by the police of Station House No. 4.

** "[[Recap/MonkS4E2MrMonkGoesHomeAgain Mr. Monk Goes Home Again]]": Paul Gilstrap is a lab technician seeking to [[TilMurderDoUsPart poison his wife]]. Knowing she enjoys Neptune Bars before bed, Gilstrap not only [[TamperingWithFoodAndDrink poisons one]] but, [[SerialKillingsSpecificTarget to make it look like she was randomly victimized by a serial killer]], poisons multiple other candy bars and distributes them throughout a store to kill many other people. Caught putting the poison at work back, Gilstrap tries to take the bars before seeing one man had eaten one and murdering him with a gun to deflect suspicion from the poison in the autopsy.

** "[[Recap/MastersOfHorrorS1E1IncidentOnAndOffAMountainRoad Incident On and Off a Mountain Road]]": "[[SilentAntagonist Moonface]]" is a SerialKiller who lives in a remote cabin in the woods. He periodically kidnaps people from the nearby road to brutally torture and murder them, taking care to dispose of their cars so no one will catch him. Moonface typically uses an electric drill in his TortureCellar to perforate his victims through the skull, eyes first; he then crucifies the corpses and displays them around his lawn. He has also kept an elderly man, Buddy, captive for an untold amount of time to the point that Buddy went completely crazy and [[StockholmSyndrome became slavishly devoted to him]]. There are even some [[WouldHurtAChild infant skeletons]] stashed around his cabin, still in their baby carriages.

* ''Series/MartialLaw''[='s=] "Honor Among Strangers": [[RightWingMilitiaFanatic Cliff Eagleton]] is a [[PoliticallyIncorrectVillain white supremacist]] encountered by Sammo Law and Cordell Walker. [[CopKiller Having murdered a Texas Ranger]], Eagleton sets up shop in Los Angeles where he proceeds to attempt to hijack a set of stinger missiles to bomb LA in order to remove "foreign" businesses. After being thwarted, he returns to Texas in part 2 of this {{crossover}}, ''Series/WalkerTexasRanger'''s "The Day of Cleansing" to initiate "The Cleansing", taking a group of trucks loaded with enough explosives to make the Oklahoma City bombing look tame, before driving them to foreign business centers and black churches, before detonating them all over the city in order to subjugate minorities and show them their "proper" place.

** "[[Recap/MidnightTexasS2E4IPutASpellOnYou I Put A Spell On You]]": [[EvilMatriarch Grace Barrone]] is a cruel, greedy woman, who runs a gang that kidnaps supernaturals and [[GladiatorGames force them to fight to death]]. Imprisoning them in cages and keeping them in line with shock collars, Grace allows people to bet on the outcome of fights, dismissing her captives as "[[FantasticRacism animals]]", who she regularly abuses and electrocutes for no good reason, only caring about the money they can make her. When her daughter Shelia falls for one of her captives Mike, a Weretiger, and ends up impregnated by him, Grace declares her a traitor who tainted their "bloodline" and [[AbusiveParents imprisons her in chains, keeping her alive only so she can use the child, her own granddaughter, in the fights]]. When the Midnighters try to rescue Mary and her father, Grace electrocutes all her captives threatening to carry on until it eventually kills them all. Despite being pure human, Grace was easily one of the most [[HumansAreTheRealMonsters depraved things the Midnighters ever encountered]].

** Original series' "The Carriers": [[VileVillainSaccharineShow Janos Passik]] takes 200 people into his mission to become as American as possible. "Teaching" them how to become American, Passik travels with the trainees to America and give them jobs as well as hotels to stay in. Passik uses this as a way of killing, and has been spreading a [[SyntheticPlague highly lethal disease]] with which he will infect the agents, who will then infect their colleagues on their jobs, and so on. While Passik shows signs of love against one of the protagonists [[FemmeFatale Cinnamon Carter]], he still has no problems with trying to kill her by trying to infect her with the disease. At the end, Passik plays a game of RussianRoulette when he discovers that they are planning on stopping his plan, including Cinnamon.

** [[BigBad Lennart Gavling]], also known as [[ManOfWealthAndTaste The Money Man]], is a CorruptCorporateExecutive, and the ArchEnemy of Martin Beck and his colleague Gunvald Larsson. Gavling was evil even when starting his career as a mercenary, as a flashback scene shows him breaking into a drug dealer couple's home and demanding money, at first trying to kill them, only to later [[WouldHurtAChild kill their newborn baby]] and blackmailing the mother, later resulting in the father being DrivenToSuicide, something Gavling takes full [[CardCarryingVillain credit]] for. Gavling first appears in the Season 1 episode "White Nights", where he kills Martin's biological son Micke for not completing a drug deal, something that emotionally breaks Martin for the rest of the series, sad that he never got to talk the latter out of criminal activity. Later appearing in "Guesthouse Pearl", Gavling is now dealing with the equally monstrous Gorzi, where they smuggle explosive cerium--which can explode at any time--using immigrants. In his final appearance, in "The Money Man", he kills his homosexual police source for [[HeKnowsTooMuch knowing too much]] about his deals, paying the police officer's boyfriend Leonard to write a fake suicide text, only to [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness later kill him]] when he starts talking to Martin, not even fully knowing if Leonard actually was talking about their deal. To scare Martin, Gavling orders his mercenary to confront Martin's daughter Inger, and then grabs her newborn baby and hides it from her. Near the end, Gavling learns that the mom whose baby he killed may be taking the case to court again, and confronts her in her home, where he uses a syringe to torture her. When the police come right in time, Gavling nearly succeeds in [[CopKiller killing Beck himself]].

** [[AttentionWhore Wayne Williams]] is the "Atlanta Monster", a SerialKiller who targets young black [[WouldHurtAChild boys]]. Luring the boys to him by promising to make them music stars, Williams murdered them by strangulation, killing possibly over a dozen this way. Taunting the police during their investigation of him, Williams kills a boy and dumps his body in a location the police had previously searched just to mock them, and plans to flee the country to escape with his crimes. Eventually caught and convicted for murdering two adult men in the area as well, Williams, despite smugly maintaining his innocence, is described by the BSU as a {{narcissist}}ic psychopath, killing his victims just because he had failed in life, and wanted someone else to blame it on, choosing young children as his targets to satisfy his ego.

** [[SmugSnake Ricky Hanson]], the series's only recurring antagonist and Jack Halford's ArchEnemy, is mid-tier LondonGangster described by Jack as "the biggest thieving, murdering, lying piece of shyte I've ever laid eyes upon." Taking over the "[[ANaziByAnyOtherName Twenty-Fours]]" in the 80's, Hanson used them as a front for his drug ring. When Ray Harris told him that two student activists had infiltrated his group, Hanson personally murdered them, then had their bodies hidden under Harris's conservatory, [[UngratefulBastard incriminating him]]. By 1996, Jack and Sandra Pullman were investigating Hanson for three murders, including that of his own brother. Realizing they were getting too close, Hanson ran over Jack's wife [[TheLostLenore Mary]], laughing as he did; it took two years for Mary's wounds to kill her. When his son, Luke, was wrongly accused of arson, Ricky abandoned him to nine years in prison to save himself, and also stole Luke's girlfriend. In Season 3's finale "Congratulations", Ricky confessed to Jack he killed Mary, [[WouldYouLikeToHearHowTheyDied tormenting him with the details of the event]]. In Season 4's premier "Casualty", Ricky tried to slowly run Jack over but was forced to flee. Sneaking into Jack's hospital, Hanson assaulted the nurse then almost smothered Jack. Interrupted by Brian Lane, Hanson tried to strangle him. In Season 6's "The Last Laugh", when the reinvestigation into the student's disappearance led back to him, Hanson set his goons on Gerry's informant.

* ''Series/TheOrder'': [[BigBad Edward Coventry]], despite his charismatic and affable nature, is really an ambitious sorcerer willing to do anything to gain ultimate power. As leader of the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose, Edward used his own members as he saw fit, treating them like disposable pawns in order to achieve his goals. When Edward learns that he may be able to construct the ''[[TomeOfEldritchLore Vade Maecum Infernal]]'' and earn [[GodhoodSeeker god-like powers]], he forces the Order to focus solely on finding the book's pages, ignoring how dangerous it could be to create such a book. He has the Order sacrifice a group of civilians; instructs one of his minions to kidnap innocent people so he can turn them into monsters capable of destroying the Knights of Saint Christopher; and attempts to cajole his youngest son into being a sacrifice, similar to his wife. When Vera becomes wary of Edward's plans, he commands Alyssa to murder her just so she can't stop his schemes. Later on, after Edward is nearly finished completing the book, he tries to kill [[TheHero Jack Morton]], his other [[OffingTheOffspring son]], and threatens to torture Alyssa if she doesn't watch despite her consistent loyalty to him.

* ''Series/{{Oz}}'': Even in this CrapsackWorld inside a HellholePrison, these characters (ordered by first appearance) stand out:

** [[Series/{{Forbrydelsen}} Original Danish series]]: [[BigBad Ulrik Strange]], initially appearing to be Sarah Lund's loyal ally and LoveInterest, is a brutal war criminal determined to bury his crimes. Whilst stationed in Afghanistan, Strange located a family accused of helping the Taliban and goaded [[ShellShockedVeteran Raben]], the leader of a squad sent to help him, into [[WouldHurtAChild shooting one of the children]], before executing the rest himself. Later becoming a [[DirtyCop police detective]], Strange decides to murder the entire squad after realizing he is being investigated. Visiting the home of a lawyer looking into his case, Strange stabs her over 21 times, before dumping her in a memorial park and framing it to look like the work of a terrorist. Locating two other members of the squad, Strange kills one with his own dog tag and has the other [[CruelAndUnusualDeath necklaced]], sadistically using the man's own mobile phone to spark the fire. When Raben escapes and goes to his former comrade Lisbeth Thomsen, Strange steals explosives from an army barracks and blows up Thomsen on her boat. After he and Lund corner Raben, Strange attempts to shoot him dead under the pretense that Raben wouldn't lower his weapon. Strange [[FrameUp then plants evidence]] to frame a soldier called Bilal, which causes the man to snap and [[DrivenToSuicide kill himself]] after abducting Raben's wife. When Lund correctly deduces that Strange was the culprit, Strange coldly guns her down before beating the traumatized Raben and attempting to kill him too.

* ''Series/KillingEve'''s 2nd season: [[DiabolicalMastermind Aaron Peel]] uses his intellect and resources to find countless women and lure them to his hotel room in Rome, where he proceeds to gruesomely [[SerialKiller kill them]] while using his security cameras to [[SnuffFIlm record]] his murder so he could watch them for his own enjoyment. Peel also hires the Ghost to [[{{Patricide}} kill his own father]], along with four other people, so he could take over his company. Peel plans to use the company's resources to create as a cyber-weapon that would allow him find people to spy, blackmail, torment, and kill on a global scale and later [[ArmsDealer auction it off to the highest bitter]]; he tells all of this to a journalist following him before murdering him and dumping his corpse in the sewers. Peel later attempts to have Villanelle kill Eve Polastri while intending to have her commit more murders for him.

* ''Series/LasVegas'': On a show whose antagonists are composed mostly of gambling cheaters, thieves, or con artists, Vince Peterson from the end of Season 4 and the Season 5 premiere stands out as the most depraved villain to appear. He's a billionaire gambler who travels around the world to have a good time. It turns out that this includes kidnapping, [[SerialRapist raping]], and [[SerialKiller killing]] women. He [[ScrewTheRulesIHaveMoney uses his money to get away with his crimes, cheery that it allows him to do whatever he wants]]. He asks Sam Marquez to marry him and sweetens the deal by agreeing to buy the Montecito... before drugging her, tying her up, stuffing her into a trunk case and taking her with him onboard his private plane. He takes way too much pleasure in letting Sam know that she isn't even ''close'' to the first woman he's done this to and looks forward to his victim pissing herself in fear [[{{Squick}} because it will turn him on more]]. He further beats Sam up with his belt and prepares to rape her before she manages to kill him by throwing him off the plane. Sam spends the rest of the Season trying to cope with the trauma.

** Season 2's second & third episodes: [[BadBoss Sverri]] is an Icelandic [[SlaveryIsASpecialKindOfEvil slaver]] notorious for working and torturing his slaves to death. Having his slaves row to Iceland for days without food, Sverri [[EvilIsPetty forces them to fight over an apple he's already taken a bite out of]]. After recapturing Uhtred and Halig after their failed escape attempt, Sverri has the latter bound to the prow of his [[SlaveGalley ship]] and forces Uhtred and the other slaves to row the roaring seas, [[CruelAndUnusualDeath slowly killing Halig]].

** [[OverlordJr Nicholas Rahl]], Darken's son in Season 1’s "[[BadFuture Reckoning]]" , was born of a Mother Confessor (Confessors have magical powers). Most male Confessors get easily corrupted by their powers, and [[EnfantTerrible Nicholas starts off]] by [[KidsAreCruel Confessing his playmate]] and forcing him to [[{{fingore}} cut off his own fingers]], because the latter refused to play with the same toys and games as Nicholas. When Nicholas's mother, Kahlan, noticed what her son was becoming and pointed it out, Darken decided to execute Kahlan and Nicholas [[HopeSpot stopped her]], saying "Father, let me do it!" After executing his own mother, [[SelfMadeOrphan Nicholas]] proceeded to murder his dad when the two were standing in front of Kahlan's tomb. After that, he ordered his father's former servants (all of whom he all Confessed) to destroy the land and kill anyone who refused to be Confessed--aka {{mind control}}led--by him. 50 years later, Richard Cypher arrives and sees the misery that Nicholas caused and nearly all the world being either killed or confessed by Nicholas, except a few peasants who were hiding and told Richard that Nicholas was even worse than his father.
* ''Series/LethalWeapon2016'': [[{{Sadist}} Gideon Lyon]] is a cold-blooded CIA agent turned [[PsychoForHire attack dog]] for cartel leader Tito Flores. Described as Flores's most brutal enforcer, Lyon pursues Flores's mistress Maria and her infant son into Los Angeles, killing an informant in the process. Cornering Martin Riggs, his partner Roger Murtaugh, DEA Agent Palmer, Maria, and her [[WouldHurtAChild baby]] in a motel, Lyon attempts to kill them all with a rocket before murdering two responding officers. Upon his arrest, Lyon is revealed to be linked to the death of Riggs's wife Miranda, and when interrogated by Riggs, Lyon boasts that once Flores commissioned the hit, he deliberately waited for Miranda to go into labor before ordering the car crash that killed her, just to hurt Riggs. Escaping, Lyon kidnaps Riggs and Murtaugh, [[ElectricTorture torturing Murtaugh with a defibrillator]] and bragging that after the crash, he personally suffocated the still-alive Miranda to death. A psychopath who simply enjoys hurting others, Gideon Lyon significantly [[KnightOfCerebus darkens the tone]] of this action-comedy series.

* ''Series/{{Lexx}}'': [[DarkIsEvil His Divine Shadow]] is the one survivor of the Insect Civilization possessing human bodies, and starts the series by annihilating the Brunnen-G species and taking over the Light Universe. Running a nightmarish regime where executions and harvesting of people for their meat is commonplace, His Divine Shadow commissions the creation of the Lexx, a planet destroying superweapon with intent to annihilate everything outside of his domain. Upon his seeming death, His Shadow initiates the Cleansing where [[OmnicidalManiac every living being in his domain is killed]] and their meat sent to feed his true form, [[OneWingedAngel Giga Shadow]]. * ''Series/JackRyan'''s Season 2: [[TheDragon Mateo Bastos]] is [[PresidentEvil President Nicolas Reyes]]'s head of security, but manages to surpass Reyes in cruelty. Participating in the bombing that led to the deaths of Senator Jim Moreno and countless others, Bastos would murder the family of a bodyguard whom his associates bribed, [[WouldHurtAChild children included]], before attempting to kill the bodyguard himself. He also captures a group of rebels and [[ColdBloodedTorture tortures]] them into making false confessions, and murders US soldier Matice before having his men defile Matice's corpse. He later kidnaps James Greer and tortures him at his prison camp, where he holds numerous Venezuelan political prisoners to torture and kill, including the husband of Gloria Bonalde, Reyes' main political rival. Bastos takes Greer to Reyes' mansion for further interrogation while ordering his men to execute his remaining 41 prisoners. When Greer frees himself and tries to shoot Bastos, he uses one of his own men as a HumanShield. A ruthless servant of a dictator, Mateo Bastos represents the worst of the Venezuelan regime.

* ''Series/GangsOfLondon'':

** [[AxCrazy Cole]] is a smug, creepy sadist who works as an infamous [[PsychoForHire hitman]], his actions [[EvenEvilHasStandards disgusting even hardened gangsters]]. Hired by Sean Wallace as part of his plan to deal with Lale, Cole attacks her base, murdering several workers and kidnapping Lale's sister and her two young children. While Sean only intends to intimidate Lale, Cole has no intention of letting the family go. ** "Invasion from Outer Space": [[MadScientist Dr. Eric Mabouse]] is an ex-military researcher who now seeks ultimate power. [[ScoobyDooHoax Pretending to be an alien]] and kidnapping Lenore Case to get Britt Reid and the police to clear the roads, he and his gang steal a hydrogen bomb, with Mabouse fully intending to set it off simply for the power trip. When Ms. Case escapes, he orders her hunted and killed, and [[BadBoss sets one henchman up to die with the Green Hornet and Kato]] in a DeathTrap when he suspects him of disloyalty. When the police close in, Mabouse simply decides to leave the warhead outside the city and [[NukeEm detonate it to destroy the city once he's gotten clear]], and leaves another henchman behind to die simply for objecting.

Undeterred, Robert continued his abuse for years until the home was shut down, and thwarted, blackmailed and threatened anyone who attempted to investigate his crimes, with several of his victims later [[DrivenToSuicide committing suicide]]. Goading Prosser into murdering former detective Iwan Thomas when he gets too close to the truth, Owen also had his former victim Kieron Jones murdered in prison when he threatened to go public. When Prosser breaks free of his hold and realizes that Owen was in fact the abuser, Owen gloats that Prosser and Dr Blake mean nothing to him and that they merely served as "useful tools", before attempting to break Prosser mentally by claiming they are the same kind of man.

** Season 1:

After having his chief opponent shot for attacking him, Richter later flees to America as the owner of a toy shop, murdering the Hunter leader Ruth when he finds her. Upon being caught by Jonah, Richter overpowers and tortures him for information, plotting to eliminate him as well.
*** [[MadScientist Katarina Löw]] is Eva Braun's head scientist, and an [[CorruptCorporateExecutive executive]] at Schidler Corp. A sadistic chemist who firmly supports Eva's plans of a Fourth Reich, Katarina assists her boss by [[TamperingWithFoodAndDrink creating a virus located inside corn syrup]] that will kill all of America's minorities, hoping to have 12 million dead by the end of the month. It is soon revealed that Appfel intends to martyr himself by blowing himself and all of his mostly oblivious followers up with a bomb; while the police are able to defuse the bomb and save most of the church members, several are still killed when a hidden second bomb is detonated by Appfel.

Wanting to destroy Unicorn's radar capabilities, he learns that the wife of the radar base's commander, Sebola, is in a coma. Using this, he threatens to put Sebola's [[WouldHurtAChild children]] into a coma like his wife if he doesn't give Dr. Snake the location to the radar base. When the attack fails due to Johnny and Giant Robot's interference, he has Sebola lead him to the radar base, having him kill his men with a [[DeadlyGas gas bomb]] when they refuse to leave. Using the radar base as a place to control Torozan, he begins demolishing Tokyo. Whenever Sebola objects to any of his demands, [[FamilyExtermination Dr. Snake threatens to kill his family]], and almost destroys Giant Robot before he is stopped.

** Seasons 2 & 3: [[AdaptationalVillainy Mason Verger]] is the [[WouldHurtAChild most sickening]] and twisted opponent [[Characters/HannibalHannibalLecter Hannibal Lecter]] and [[Characters/HannibalWillGraham Will Graham]] ever face. The heir to the [[Characters/HannibalVergerFamily Verger]] meatpacking empire, [[BigBrotherBully Mason]] lords his power over his sister Margo, having abused her physically, mentally, and sexually for many years. Knowing she will be disinherited if Mason dies without an heir, Mason mocks her with an intent to rape her to father that heir. When Margo sleeps with Will Graham in desperation, Mason arranges for her reproductive organs to be removed in the most invasive procedure possible. Mason also emotionally abuses every child he encounters, being a brutal pedophile who also molests some at a summer camp he patrons, so he can collect their tears for his martinis. Upon being paralyzed, and disfigured by Hannibal, Mason grows even worse. [[{{Sadist}} Finding only joy in the suffering of others]], Mason plans to torture Will and Hannibal to death so he might dine upon the latter. Providing his sperm with Margo's eggs, Mason gives her a "surrogate", letting their child grow in the body of a sow so it will die a painful death, just for the sick joy of Margo's anguish.

** Seasons 1-2: [[TheFundamentalist Tomas]] is a cruel and manipulative Prolethean fanatic, as well as Helena's [[AbusiveParents adoptive father and mentor]]. Believing [[Characters/OrphanBlackProjectLeda Project LEDA clones]] to be an abomination, Tomas adopted one of them, Helena, and used physical, psychological and emotional abuse to groom her into a killer and keep her under her thumb, lying to her that she is the original to motivate her. Helena would go on to kill other clones at Tomas's behest, and Tomas would often [[YouHaveFailedMe torture her for failure]]. Learning of Helena and Sarah's connection and of Sarah's daughter Kira, Tomas orders Helena to kill Sarah and abduct Kira, locking her in a small cage when she refuses. During a later confrontation, it's made clear that Tomas intends to put Kira through the same treatment as he did Helena, which ultimately turns Helena against him. When later rescued by the Johanssen branch, Tomas makes it clear that he sees Helena as another abomination, and his only objection to the idea of Helena having children is his belief that those children will be monsters as well.

* ''Series/LostTapes''' "Poltergeist": [[AxCrazy Charles Weatherly]] was a sadistic man who murdered his [[DomesticAbuse wife]] and [[OffingTheOffspring children]] before turning the knife on himself. After his death, Charles began haunting his home as a poltergeist. When the Golden family moved in, Charles began haunting their son, Troy. After an incident in which Charles pushed a bookcase on top of Troy's older sister, a paranormal investigation team was called in. When the team witnessed a sleeping Troy's stuffed panda being turned into a knife, they moved the family out of the house and began their investigation. During the investigation, Charles [[DemonicPossession possessed one of the investigators]], demanding they leave before killing her. When the leader of the investigators, Jeremy, made it clear they weren't going to leave, he killed the other member of the team and placed his body like a statue. When Jeremy concedes after the deaths of his followers, Charles leads him to Troy's room where he stabs him to death.

* ''Gap-dong''/''Gab-dong'': [[BigBad Gap-dong himself]], in truth [[KillerCop police chief Cha Do-hyeok]], is responsible for a wave of [[SerialKiller serial murders]] that saw multiple women throttled to death after being assaulted. Gap-dong helped to [[FrameUp blame]] a mentally handicapped man for the crime, resulting in [[DrivenToSuicide his suicide]]. In present, Gap-dong inspires new killers, seeking to have his copycats blamed so he can continue murdering without the burden of the Gap-dong name, and when caught intends on escaping via the statute limitations while mentally torturing the only victim who escaped him after he forced her and two other women to play rock-paper-scissors to determine who would live. He then attempts to have the witnesses against him murdered, and is so egotistical, he has one of his erstwhile protégés killed for daring to say he surpassed him.

* ''The Girl Who Sees Smells/Sensory Couple'' (2015 series): [[TheChessmaster Kwon Jae-hee]], the true identity of the [[SerialKiller Barcode Killer]], is the BigBad of the show. Afflicted by a cognitive disorder that leaves him unable to recognize faces, Kwon is suspected to have [[SelfMadeOrphan murdered his adoptive American parents]] in an "[[MakeItLookLikeAnAccident accident]]" when their RV caught fire with them inside. After dropping out of Harvard Medical School when a psychological test deemed him unfit to be a doctor, Kwon returned to Korea and [[VillainWithGoodPublicity became a famous chef]], solely because [[AxCrazy his profession allowed him to kill living things without reprimand]], abandoning his future in medicine when he couldn't see himself saving lives instead of killing. Harboring a twisted idea that he could own human lives, Kwon began forcing people to chronicle their lives in empty books before suffocating them to death and carving barcodes onto their wrists as his way of reducing them to mere covers for his books, repeating this process in a 12-month cycle and [[CreepySouvenir collecting the books as morbid trophies]]. Starting with the ex-wife of a police detective, Kwon murdered Oh Cho-rim's biological parents and then, in a failed to attempt to eliminate the witness, slashed the throat of a girl who shared her original name, Choi Moo-gak's sister. Years later, Kwon murdered his own girlfriend and then the closest friend that he had to cover his tracks, "owning" their lives as well; when Kwon is baited into kidnapping Lieutenant Yeom Mi, Kwon tries to kill her anyway and is almost successful. Escaping custody when the van that was transporting him suspiciously fell into a river, taking the lives of innocent policemen, Kwon kidnapped Cho-rim on the day of her wedding with Moo-gak to kill them both, even [[UngratefulBastard after the latter showed him mercy]].

* ''Hell is Other People'' (aka ''Strangers from Hell'') (2019 series): [[FaceOfAnAngelMindOfADemon Seo Moon-Jo]] is equally a DepravedDentist and a MadArtist. As the [[DragonInChief de facto leader]] of Eden Studio, Seo performs dental extractions without any sort of anesthetic and creates "jewelry" with the teeth that he pulled out, leaving the others to finish the job and tasking them with disposing of the bodies for him. When not torturing his victims, Seo enjoys searching for mentally vulnerable people and [[TheCorrupter turning them into monsters like himself]], and [[BadBoss he's not above executing members of his own circle]] if they interfere with his work. Setting his eyes on Yoon Jong-Woo, Seo repeatedly manipulates his emotions to make him sink deeper into insanity and embrace his inner darkness, killing Yoon's boss and later a reporter who could have exposed the murders. Using Kang Sun-Woo as bait, Seo acknowledges that he tried his best but removes his teeth and leaves him to die anyway. In the climax, Seo succeeds in breaking Yoon's mind and sends him on a rampage, eliminating what remained of his "family". Even in the face of death, Seo [[ForTheEvulz confesses that he doesn't need an excuse to be evil]] and dies satisfied, his influence living on through Yoon.

* ''Jack Hunter'' (2008-2009 miniseries): [[BigBad Albert Littman]] is [[AdventureArchaeologist Jack Hunter]]'s sadistic [[EvilFormerFriend former colleague-turned-rival]], and a psychotic treasure hunter driven solely by greed. [[EstablishingCharacterMoment Introduced]] murdering his entire crew of hired hands on the mere suspicion that one of them is a traitor, Littman is hired to find the legendary Star of Heaven, and carries out numerous atrocities in his search for the artifact, including having Jack Hunter's mentor shot dead; massacring a cult dedicated to protecting the Star; shooting his lover/partner in the back; and torturing and killing an antiquities dealer and his son. In his supreme act of villainy, Littman turns on his employer to use the Star of Heaven to vaporize him and his crew, as well as numerous NSA agents, laughing with sadistic glee that he is [[AGodAmI invincible]]. An unpredictable psychopath who can barely conceal his depravity behind a veil of sophistication, Albert Littman earns Jack Hunter's undying hatred and dread.

* ''Justiça'': [[DirtyCoward Oswaldo]], the BigBad in Rose's story, is the most repugnant criminal to be introduced in the show. Starting as a [[TeensAreMonsters teenager]], Oswaldo was a prolific SerialRapist who used his job as painter as a front to find victims, and forced them to imagine that they were liking the situation. Raping Rose's best friend, Débora, Oswaldo would proceed to rape another woman to the point she had to be sent to the hospital with multiple injuries around her body. Capturing Débora again, Oswaldo coldly remarks that she must have missed him, and asks her if she "wants more". At the mercy of Rose's thuggish friends, Oswaldo begs to be escorted to the police, and confesses that the first thing he will do upon getting out of prison is rape Débora again.

* ''The Last Days of Pompeii'' (1984 miniseries): [[AmbitionIsEvil Arbaces]], the power-hungry [[SinisterMinister priest of Isis]], seeks to place himself as the most powerful man in Pompeii by framing the Christians and helping to initiate their purges and executions. Despising the good-hearted Gaius for having the heart of Ione, the ward he lusts over, Arbaces murders Ione's brother for [[HeKnowsTooMuch uncovering his schemes]] and [[FrameUp frames Gaius]] to [[MurderTheHypotenuse have him executed]] among many other Christians and claim Ione for his own.

Deciding to overthrow the king by manipulating his half-brother, Yoon dismisses his daughter's fall from grace in this plan by coldly stating he can have another. He has the queen mother fatally poisoned and proceeds to try to kill the king and all of his allies, aiming to seize ultimate power in Korea.

* ''The Mutants'' trilogy: [[MadScientist Dr. Júlia Zaccarias]] is a high-ranking member of the [[ReptilesAreAbhorrent reptilians]]. Settling in the coast of UsefulNotes/SaoPaulo and founding the Progenesis company, Julia created a race of mutated humans though unethical experiments in order to use them as weapons to [[TakeOverTheWorld take over the Earth]], her first creations being the twins Maria and Samira, torturing the latter for at least 30 years to mold her into a perfect assassin. Setting Samira against her own sister, Julia orders her to commit several atrocities and kills anyone who discovers or suspects of her plans, including her own partner at Progenesis, framing Maria for his murder. Willingly following the orders of her genocidal race, Julia's final plan is [[KillAllHumans have humanity wiped out]] with a deadly virus.

** Season 4: [[SmugSnake Nick "Nicky" Augustine]] is a [[DeadpanSnarker snarky]] yet sociopathic crime lord who is dispatched to Harlan County by [[Characters/JustifiedDetroitMob Detroit Mob]] boss Theo Tonin to handle the Drew Thompson situation. Immediately executing his childhood friend Jerry Barkley for [[YouHaveFailedMe failure]] upon arriving in Harlan, Augustine arranges for a hitman to target a variety of men on the small chance they could be Drew Thompson, an old enemy of Theo's who Augustine plans to capture and have tortured to death to gain Theo's approval. Using Boyd Crowder and Wynn Duffy as pawns who he threatens with torture and death should they fail him, Augustine has Constable Bob tortured for information; tries to bomb a federal convoy; and plans to murder a hooker, all in various attempts to take out Drew. When Raylan Givens consistently thwarts Augustine's schemes, Augustine targets the man's pregnant ex-wife Winona, sending his goons to try to torture the woman to death and [[TraumaticCSection rip her baby out of her]], and even after Raylan saves Winona, Augustine just brags that he'll keep trying until Raylan's entire family is dead, cementing himself as such a heartless bastard that Raylan broke his moral code to arrange for Augustine's death.

** [[ProfessionalKiller David Ridges]] is Jacob Nighthorse's [[TheDragon personal hitman]] who has killed numerous people, usually by shooting them with poisonous arrows or shoving feathers down their throats. Hired by Barlow Connally to deal with Walt Longmire's wife, Martha, Ridges sends a meth addict to murder her before [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness killing him]] to tie up loose ends. [[FakingTheDead Faking his death]] to avoid capture, Ridges would shoot Barlow's son Branch with a hallucination arrow, [[DrivenToMadness driving Branch into insanity]] and attacking Walt's daughter, Cady, while Ridges would scalp Hector alive when he tries to bring Ridges to justice. Ridges would then try to kill Walt when he discovers that he is actually alive.

** "[[Recap/TheMentalistS2E19BloodMoney Blood Money]]": The sociopathic SerialKiller Cale Sylvan makes his living as a [[PsychoForHire hitman]] to get paid for his disgusting hobby. Connected to the "mysterious" deaths of seven people, Sylvan's most recent victim is District Attorney Kelly Flower, who he took the time to videotape begging for her life as a trophy to keep for himself. Although arrested, Sylvan is released and later found in his murder house, with a terrified captive man he plans to kill, and after Sylvan's own death, multiple bodies are found in the yard of the property.

** Season 6's "[[Recap/TheMentalistS6E19 Brown Eyed Girls]]" [[Recap/TheMentalistS6E20 through]] "[[Recap/TheMentalistS6E21 Black Hearts]]": [[FauxAffablyEvil Michael Ridley]] is the mastermind behind a massive [[HumanTraffickers human trafficking]] ring, kidnapping hundreds of innocent women to either be sold as {{sex slave}}s or killed for their [[OrganTheft organs]], with 15 butchered corpses shown on display. Ridley also shows the same callous cruelty to his [[BadBoss own employees]], with one getting his throat slit and two more getting stabbed to death while intimidating his right-hand man, Anthony Tremel, to try blowing up his doctor Alexander Lark before Ridley decides to coerce Lark into killing himself by threatening his daughter's life.

** "[[Recap/OzS1E4CapitalP Capital P]]": [[FauxAffablyEvil Richard L'Italien]] is a talkative DeathRow inmate who quickly reveals himself to be one of the worst characters in the show despite his limited screentime. A remorseless SerialKiller since he was a [[TeensAreMonsters teenager]], L'Italien suffocated 40 young women to death, bragging about having raped and murdered his therapist back in juvie before doing the same to her daughter, all because he claims to "love" women and she told him that he actually [[HeManWomanHater hated them]].

** Season 4A: [[PoliticallyIncorrectVillain Mark Miles]], initially nothing but a cruel bully and a friend of the [[Characters/OzAryans Aryan Brotherhood]], is the only inmate in his block to lack redeeming qualities. A fan of PaterFamilicide, Miles brutally murdered his own wife and son for no discernible reason, getting off scot-free by pleading insanity. Marrying another woman, Miles massacred her and his daughters in the same way--crimes that [[EvenEvilHasStandards manage to shock]] even the other death row inmates, with one calling herself an amateur upon discovering the truth. A DirtyCoward who fears his own well-deserved demise, Miles spends his last days tormenting everyone around him for fun.

** Seasons 1-2: [[TheFundamentalist Tomas]] is a cruel and manipulative Prolethean fanatic, as well as Helena's [[AbusiveParents adoptive father and mentor]]. Believing project LEDA clones to be an abomination, Tomas adopted one of them, Helena, and used physical, psychological and emotional abuse to groom her into a killer and keep her under her thumb, lying to her that she is the original to motivate her. Helena would go on to kill other clones at Tomas's behest, and Tomas would often [[YouHaveFailedMe torture her for failure]]. Learning of Helena and Sarah's connection and of Sarah's daughter Kira, Tomas orders Helena to kill Sarah and abduct Kira, locking her in a small cage when she refuses. During a later confrontation, it's made clear that Tomas intends to put Kira through the same treatment as he did Helena, which ultimately turns Helena against him. When later rescued by the Johanssen branch, Tomas makes it clear that he sees Helena as another abomination, and his only objection to the idea of Helena having children is his belief that those children will be monsters as well.

* ''Series/{{Hunters}}'': These three are among the worst of the [[ThoseWackyNazis Nazis]] hiding in America:
** [[PoliticallyIncorrectVillain Travis Leich]] is [[TheHeavy the chief enforcer]] of the Nazi conspiracy, and is unique in that he's an American drawn into Nazism. [[EstablishingCharacterMoment Introduced]] beating down a politician's friends and threatening the man's young son's life to force his votes, Leich tries to hunt down Meyer Offerman's outfit, killing and torturing everyone he encounters, murdering Jonah's friend Booty and later tying up a family to interrogate the father via [[{{kneecapping}} shooting his wife and pregnant daughter in the knees]] before he murders them all anyways. [[BeenThereShapedHistory Causing the 1977 New York blackout]] to let the Nazis cause widespread terrorist attacks and incite violent riots, Leich is later incarcerated but attempts to make himself a leader to the racists within and forge them into an army by requesting a Jewish lawyer and murdering him while shouting that "Jews will not replace us."
** [[StarterVillain Heinz Richter]] is an escaped Nazi war criminal with a fondness for chess. Finding intelligent prisoners, Richter would make them his opponents in "[[ForcedPrizeFight human chess]]", with [[PoWCamp camp]] victims forced to serve as the pieces and personally murder other pieces they had "taken", killing large numbers of innocents this way. After having his chief opponent shot for attacking him, Richter later flees to America as the owner of a toy shop, murdering the Hunter leader Ruth when he finds her. Upon being caught by Jonah, Richter overpowers and tortures him for information, plotting to eliminate him as well.
** [[MadScientist Katarina Löw]] is "[[BigBad the Colonel's]]" head scientist, and an [[CorruptCorporateExecutive executive]] at Schidler Corp. A sadistic chemist who firmly supports the Colonel's plans of a Fourth Reich, Katarina assists her boss by [[TamperingWithFoodAndDrink creating a virus located inside corn syrup]] that will kill all of America's minorities, hoping to have 12 million dead by the end of the month. Experimenting with her virus on countless South American [[WouldHurtAChild children]], Katarina takes an immense amount of pleasure in the deaths her virus has caused.

* ''Series/{{Gotham}}'':
** Season 1: [[MadDoctor Dr. Francis Dulmacher]], aka the Dollmaker, is a respected, soft-spoken surgeon who works with rich clients, and is the mastermind of a HumanTrafficking ring, which he uses to [[OrganTheft harvest organs]] for his experiments. He often sends his thugs to abduct people, then takes them to his facility on a private island where said thugs keep them hostage. Early in the season, he sends two of his lackeys to abduct [[WouldHurtAChild street children]] to such a fate, using charity as a lure. When his plan is exposed and the children are sent into protective care, he tries to have his lackeys hijack the convoy. Later on in the season, crime boss Fish Mooney finds herself in Dulmacher's clutches, with him intending to [[EyeScream take her eye]]; later he shows what happens to those who fail or cross him, as he shows her his former lackeys disassembled and reassembled with female parts.
** [[Characters/GothamJeromeValeska Jerome Valeska]] is a psychopath introduced being placed in Arkham Asylum for [[{{Matricide}} murdering his own mother]], laughing at his crime when interrogated. Recruited along with other inmates by [[Characters/GothamTheGalavansOrganization Theo Galavan]] to form the Maniax, Jerome functions as their leader, committing crimes such as taking hostages and throwing them off a rooftop; attempting to set fire to a bus full of cheerleaders; shooting up the Gotham City Police Department, personally killing Commissioner Sarah Essen; [[{{Patricide}} killing his own father]]; and taking those in attendance at a children's charity hostage, killing the deputy mayor of Gotham. Tormenting the 13-year-old [[Characters/GothamWayneManor Bruce Wayne]], Jerome slowly begins slitting his throat, trying to kill him. After being killed and resurrected, Jerome encourages his followers to spread death and chaos as he announces his return and straps his own follower, Dwight, to a bomb, detonating it and killing him. As the chaos spreads through the city, Jerome again goes after Bruce, making it entertaining for himself by taking Bruce to a twisted carnival he's set up, tormenting Bruce before trying to kill him yet again. Taking over Arkham along with other criminals, Jerome has Jonathan Crane produce an insanity-inducing PsychoSerum, then chooses to kill himself to deny [[Characters/GothamJimGordon Commissioner Jim Gordon]] arresting him. Sending a package of his Venom to his twin brother Jeremiah, Jerome ensures his nefarious legacy lives on in the creation of [[Characters/BatmanTheJoker Gotham's most infamous criminal]].
** [[PsychoPsychologist Dr. Hugo Strange]] is a former associate of Thomas Wayne in the Pinewood Farms project, meant to cure disease but abused by Strange to [[PlayingWithSyringes perform horrifying experiments]] on patients. When Wayne discovered Strange's deeds and shut the project down, he allied himself with the [[Characters/GothamCourtOfOwls Court of Owls]], having Wayne and his wife gunned down in front of their young son, Bruce. Becoming head of Arkham Asylum, Strange [[MadScientist continues his torturous experiments]] on his patients, [[DrivenToMadness driving many insane]] or transforming them into monsters. Discovering how to bring the dead back to life, Strange resurrects Gotham's deceased criminals, who return as raving lunatics and go on to kill numerous innocents while Strange happily accommodates them to commit their crimes. When persistently investigated by Bruce and Commissioner James Gordon, Strange viciously tortures them before trying to kill them, along with Selina Kyle, the latter merely for having annoyed him. Ordered by the Court to detonate a nuclear device to destroy evidence of his experiments, Strange agrees, apathetic that this may potentially take out much of Gotham City. Strange later returns to create a HatePlague, planning to unleash it on Gotham to drive the population into a killing frenzy. Playing both Gotham police and the Court as it suited him, Strange proved a narcissistic scientist who cared only for performing his depraved experiments.
** Season 4: [[TheDreaded Lazlo Valentin]], aka [[AnimalMotifs Professor Pyg]], is a [[PsychoForHire sadistic hitman]] known for copying the MO of multiple {{serial killer}}s. He arrives in Gotham and makes himself known to the GCPD by [[CopKiller killing many of its cops]] in various brutal ways, which include slashing some with a cleaver; having one blown up by a grenade; and having many get shot by a machine gun. He later kills six homeless people, bakes them into meat pies, and forces the Gotham socialites to eat said pies. Upon being caught and sent to Arkham Asylum, he viciously kills an inmate for interrupting his music leisure, and kills multiple staff while escaping the Asylum. He then kills crime boss Carmine Falcone on Sofia Falcone's behest, and attempts to kill Commissioner James Gordon himself before Sofia shoots him.
** [[Characters/GothamJeremiahValeska Jeremiah Valeska]] is Jerome's seemingly orderly twin brother and a powerful but suspicious businessman. According to Jerome, Jeremiah is just as bad as he is and plans to make him his heir; when seemingly DrivenToMadness by a special gas, Jeremiah states it did nothing but alter his appearance, and that he intends to usurp Jerome's legacy to gratify his own ego; Jeremiah starts off with a plan to detonate powerful bombs all over Gotham, before incinerating his new followers after he fails, and has his lover Ecco shoot herself to prove her loyalty. Jeremiah later teams up with [[Characters/BatmanRasAlGhul Ra's al Ghul]] to destroy all the bridges out of Gotham and turn the city into a lawless despot. Obsessed with Bruce Wayne, Jeremiah does anything to become the center of his world, including shooting Selina Kyle; torturing a decoy of Alfred to self-mutilate; attempting to recreate the night of the Wayne murders with brainwashed victims, before trying to use Jim and Leslie as a substitute; and attempting to unleash chemicals onto the city to ruin it beyond repair. Emerging ten years later, Jeremiah eventually kills Ecco, stating they'll be others like her, before kidnapping and trying to drop Jim Gordon's [[WouldHurtAChild young daughter]] into a vat of chemicals.

* ''Series/{{Krypton}}'': [[Characters/SupermanBrainiacCharacter Brainiac]], known as [[TheCollector the Collector of Worlds]], is an [[RoboticPsychopath android]] who travels through the galaxy to abduct cities and shrink them for his collection, often resulting in the destruction of their planet. While he publicly claims to bring immortality for the people he takes, in actuality they are put into a paralyzed stasis [[AndIMustScream while remaining conscious forever]]. Having already inflicted this fate to countless cities and setting sight on Kandor from planet Krypton, Brainiac sends a sentry that possesses and kills an innocent woman before infecting the dictator of Kandor, whom Brainiac remotely controls. After defeating a coup, he brainwashes the rebels into his loyal guards and forces chief magistrate Daron-Vex to execute his co-conspirators, including Daron's own daughter Nyssa. To replenish his forces, Brainiac regularly feeds on the birth facility, [[HumanResources draining embryos as batteries]]. He then slaughters any opposition with his psychic powers and turns a little girl into a living bomb he sends upon her friend Seg-El. Defeated and cast away into the Phantom Zone, Brainiac drags Seg along in his doom.

* ''Series/LoisAndClark'': Lighthearted as this show is, it still packs in numerous nasty villains:
** [[ConquerorFromTheFuture Tempus]], one of the most recurring villains of the show, is a [[LaughablyEvil witty criminal mastermind]] who originates from a utopian future created by Lois and Clark. [[GoodIsBoring Considering this future tedious]] and longing to tear it down and replace it with a hellish dystopia, Tempus tries various schemes to make this happen, attempting to murder an infant Superman with Kryptonite and leaving Lois stranded in a time period where she'll have no legal rights in his first appearance, and trying to frame Superman as a hostile alien invader before trying to leave a building full of people to blow up with a bomb he's activated in his second. In Tempus's last appearance, Tempus traps Superman outside of time and mindwashes America into voting him in as {{President|Evil}}; personally murders or disposes of various loose ends who might compromise him; [[BadBoss tosses his bodyguard to his death]] for a [[ForTheEvulz cheap laugh]]; and ultimately tries to trigger a global nuclear war to [[OmnicidalManiac annihilate the entire planet]] while gleefully attesting he simply wants to murder billions for the fun of it now. Even Tempus's snarky demeanor fails to mask the utter lunatic he truly is, and he stands above even [[Characters/SupermanLexLuthor Lex Luthor]] as Superman's most vile enemy.
** "[[Recap/LoisAndClarkS1E11HoneymoonInMetropolis Honeymoon in Metropolis]]": [[ArmsDealer Thaddeus Roarke]] is a [[CorruptCorporateExecutive tycoon]] who runs a company called [[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast Apocalypse Consulting]]. After losing a military contract to Lex Luthor to develop a coastal defense system for the Navy, Roarke plans to sabotage Luthor's system so that the Navy will pick his system. Roarke is working with a [[CorruptPolitician Congressman Ian Harrington]] who works on the House Subcommittee on Defense and is giving Roarke information about Luthor's system. Roarke eventually reveals his scheme to Harrington, that he plans to cause a massive disruption in Luthor's system that will result in it creating a giant tidal wave which will destroy Metropolis and several cities on the coast, [[EvenEvilHasStandards which horrifies Harrington]]. When Roarke discovers Lois Lane and Clark Kent have been spying on him, he tries to kill them by putting a bomb in their hotel room.
** "[[Recap/LoisAndClarkS3E8ChipOffTheOldClark A Chip Off The Old Clark]]": "[[MasterOfDisguise Anonymous]]" is a [[PsychoForHire mercenary]] who works for the highest bidder. Anonymous is hired by terrorists to destroy an ongoing peace process between two countries, Tanzor and Fostonia. Anonymous learns of a young boy named Jesse who has some of Superman's powers and kidnaps him. Anonymous hires a hacker to hack into Tanzor's nuclear defense system and then shoots the hacker so he does not have to pay him. Anonymous has Jesse kidnap the President of the Tanzor and uses truth serum to force him to reveal Tanzor's nuclear launch codes, [[NukeEm planning to launch a nuke at Fostonia's capital city]]. Lois Lane arrives and tries to trick Anonymous into surrendering by pretending to have a gun, but Anonymous tricks Jesse into pressing the launch button. Discovering that Jesse has lost his powers, Anonymous decides he is no longer useful and tries to use poison gas to kill Lois, the President and [[WouldHurtAChild Jesse]].
** "[[Recap/LoisAndClarkS3E9SuperMann Super Mann]]": [[ThoseWackyNazis Steve Law]] is a Nazi who [[DeepCoverAgent awakens from suspended animation]] in present-day Metropolis to help lead the world into the Fourth Reich. Establishing himself as the nastiest of his three compatriots, Law tries to have a Western sympathizer in his inner circle murdered when he tries to renege and unflinchingly executes his own associate when he tries to abandon the mission as well. Law spearheads the mission to crush the world himself by threatening to detonate bombs in Metropolis, Washington, and LA if America's government doesn't surrender, trying to detonate the bombs as soon as he's able and even dismissing all of his own men who will be caught up in the explosions as "martyrs to the cause".
** "[[Recap/LoisAndClarkS4E6ThePeopleVersusLoisLane The People vs. Lois Lane]]" & "[[Recap/LoisAndClarkS4E7DeadLoisWalking Dead Lois Walking]]": [[MadScientist Professor Jefferson Cole]] is a narcissistic, brilliant mind expelled from S.T.A.R. laboratories after he attempted to sell weapons technology to those who would misuse it. Breaking out of jail years later and possessed of a vendetta toward the people who locked him away, especially Lois Lane, Cole frames Lois for murder by rigging a gun to go off in her hands and [[BadBoss kill his own henchmen]], later using his illusory technology to further discredit Lois until she's sentenced to death. Cole murders one of his own minions who tries to clear Lois's name in remorse and reveals his trump card is to rain down hybrid-Kryptonite on Metropolis to horribly kill its entire populace, all out of [[EvilIsPetty petty spite]] for the city having "shunned his genius".

* ''Series/Lucifer2016'': In a show where redemption is a major theme, these guys make it clear they are beyond such concepts:
** ArchangelMichael, the EvilTwin of [[Characters/Lucifer2016LuciferMorningstar Lucifer Morningstar]], seeks to ruin the latter's life out of petty envy. Michael is the true mastermind behind many actions in Lucifer's life, which include his rebellion against God; visit to the Garden of Eden; and retirement to Los Angeles, having [[ManipulativeBastard manipulated Lucifer into these actions]]. Michael would [[{{Gaslighting}} gaslight]] his father into believing he's losing control of his powers so that he could retire, allowing Michael to [[GodhoodSeeker replace him as God]]. Coming down to Earth to impersonate Lucifer and ruin his life, Michael gives his infant nephew a common cold to exploit his brother Amenadiel's fears about his son's mortality. Assembling the Flaming Sword to force his siblings into helping him become God, Michael would [[SiblingMurder kill his sister Remiel]] with it, [[DeaderThanDead not giving her any afterlife in the process]]. Afterwards, Michael would order the murder of Lucifer's friend Dan so that his ex-wife Chloe would feel guilty about it and go to Hell after her death, which would also make Lucifer return down there for her. In his final battle, Michael would temporarily kill Chloe and try to erase his brother from existence with the Flaming Sword.
** "[[Recap/Lucifer2016S04E06OrgyPantsToWork Orgy Pants to Work]]": [[DirtyCoward Julian McCaffrey]] is the son of Jacob Tierning and Willow [=McCaffrey=]. After his mother's death, Julian took over her nudist sanctuary and using his father's shipping company smuggled both drugs and [[HumanTraffickers foreign women]] into America, with the latter quickly being sold into {{sex slave}}ry. Once nudist visitor Gary Van Blunt found out, Julian had him murdered, and after one of his human trafficking operations got ambushed, Julian killed a cop and tried to defend himself by saying he's better than his father because unlike his father, Julian [[AtLeastIAdmitIt admits to being bad]]. Remorseless and [[NeverMyFault always trying to pin the blame on something else]], Julian claims the women he smuggles are broken toys even before they're forced into slavery.
** "[[Recap/Lucifer2016S04E10WhosDaNewKingOfHell Who's da New King of Hell?]]": [[TheStarscream Dromos]] is a demon who possessed the body of the recently-deceased Father Kinley to get his king, [[Characters/Lucifer2016LuciferMorningstar Lucifer Morningstar]], back to {{Hell}}. Originally [[FauxAffablyEvil acting friendly and loyal]] towards his king, once Lucifer makes it clear he's not going back, Dromos drops the act. Instead deciding he will get himself a new king, Dromos kidnaps [[WouldHurtAChild Lucifer's infant nephew Charlie]], planning to mold him into the type of king he would like. Alongside this, Dromos would kill dozens of humans so his demonic siblings could help him in his goal. With his actions convincing Lucifer to go back to Hell, Dromos manages to [[TheBadGuyWins win]] while not facing any consequences for his actions, free to continue torturing sinners for all eternity.
** "[[Recap/Lucifer2016S05E07OurMojo Our Mojo]]" & "[[Recap/Lucifer2016S05E08SpoilerAlert Spoiler Alert]]": [[HeManWomanHater Pete Daily]], first appearing in "[[Recap/Lucifer2016S05E06BlueBallz BlueBallz]]" as a [[BitchInSheepsClothing friendly journalist]], is the [[SerialKiller Whisper Killer]], notorious for cutting women's vocal cords and leaving them to choke on their blood. Killing four women in this style, Pete's actions inspire [[JackTheRipoff Les Klumpsky]] to start murdering women in the same style and pin all of Pete's murders on himself, making Pete responsible for all of Klumpsky's murders. When his girlfriend Ella Lopez finds out about Pete's secret, he tries to strangle her to death.

** "Zodiac": [[StockUnsolvedMysteries The Zodiac Killer]] himself is responsible for [[SerialKiller over 19 murders]] throughout his lifetime. With his legacy influencing [[JackTheRipoff Gary Graham]] to kill three people in an attempt to surpass him, the Zodiac Killer, upon Graham's death, calls Nash to taunt him about how his identity shall remain a secret.
