The Facepunch RP Group is a group of roleplayers that have been making [[PlayByPostGames Play by Post]] [[ForumRolePlays Forum [=RPs=]]] for several years on the [[http://www.facepunch.com/ Facepunch Forums]]. They are largely centered around simulating countries in different settings ranging from [[AlternateHistory alternate histories]] to fantasy worlds and sci-fi.

* SpaceFillingEmpire: Near the end of the game, the world was, for the most part, split up into various large empires.

* MexicoCalledTheyWantTexasBack: Sort of, the US tried to take land from Mexico, but due to an invasion by Canada, they failed.
* FallenStatesOfAmerica: After a failed invasion by Canada, a successful invasion by Mexico, and a civil war that went so wrong, the Confederacy re-joined the Union to defeat a third faction, and after a second invasion by Canada, the US is this.
* DividedStatesOfAmerica: Between the expanded Canada & Gran-Columbia, there are a few Midwest & East Coast states that haven't been annexed yet.

* SchizoTech: Too many examples to count.
* DecadeDissonance: Many parts of the devastated United states when compared to Canada.
* ChinaTakesOvertheWorld: China becomes the dominant Economic, Cultural & Military force in the world.

* EvilVersusEvil: Modern World V2 ended up more or less like this, with a Russia who wished to conquer all of Eastern Europe fighting the pro-nuclear neo-conservative United States.
* NanoMachines: China was developing a lot of these to replace nuclear weapons, to everyone's horror.
* GreyGoo: The end result of China's testing.
* ChinaTakesOverTheWorld: China with Facepunch user Mr. Face's leadership became the world's strongest power. At the end of the game, the fate of the World War hinged on whether China sided with its friend America or old ally Russia.
* GloriousMotherRussia: Russia very quickly started going back to its Soviet roots toward the end of the game.
* SovietSuperscience: The Russians reintroduced the Wooly Mammoth to the world and planned to use war-adapted Sabertooth Tigers.

* MakeTheBearAngryAgain: America tried to [[KickTheDog plant a nuke in Russia]] to force the Russians to follow their will. [[WorldWarIII It ended as you would expect.]]

* ZergRush: Russia began drafting its population en masse for this reason.
* ArsonMurderAndJaywalking: Poland was developing weapons, being dragged into a world war by Russia, facing large political upheaval. Oh, and a mug of coffee spilled on some dude's carpet.
* TheAlliance: In Modern World V2, the world drifted into these, with the European Union, the Democratic Coalition and the Eurasian Federation becoming the three competing power blocs.

* Ruritania: Transylvania, Moldavia & Poland.

Unlike its other brethren, World Divided is a game that runs on Gmod pictures instead of the same text all the time. World Divided is an [[AlternateHistory Alternate History]] where [[WorldWarIII World War III]] has broken out. In retaliation to the nuclear warheads fired at the American coasts, Israel fires it's final set of nuclear warheads, warheads hit in shanghai china, and Moscow Russia. In retaliation five remaining Russian Nuclear Submarines's in the area decimate Israel with a fierce barrage of warheads. With many countries ravaged by fierce fighting and economies decimated the War grinds to a stalemate, shortly after the Nuclear Arms Treaty is signed by remaining superpowers (Russia, China, America). The year is now 2038 and new nations, gangs, and groups have risen from the ashes.
* CrapsackWorld: The world was plunged into Nuclear War(not to the severity of say Fallout) Plagues, mutants, bandits overrun the world. The majority of nations fell. You'll be lucky to find any safe place out there in Neutral Areas. The Orange and Red Areas on the other hand... are even worse.
* ScavengerWorld: It's also this, those who aren't pre-war nations or prepared countries usually resort to scavenging in order to survive.
