Sheldon decides to start a book club with Sturgis and Linkletter to discuss his books, and Connie reluctantly agrees to attend, in order to please Sheldon, especially after Sheldon reminds her that her deceased husband was a big fan of Asimov.

To make the book club more palatable for Connie, Sheldon decides they will read a short story, "Literature/Nightfall1941"Technically a novelette, presumably not the 1990 expansion rather than a full-length novel. At the book club meeting, the topic of Connie's recent breakup with Dale (Creator/CraigTNelson) comes up. Sturgis and Linkletter take the opportunity to hit on her, which she does not like.

moving Jossed to YMMV

* Jossed: This episode goes out of its way to debunk several theories regarding the outcome of Mandy's pregnancy, since there was no mention of Georgie having any children in Series/TheBigBangTheory (Though it was never outright stated that he didn't have kids either). It wasn't a false positive, Mandy took multiple pregnancy tests. The baby is indeed Georgie's, he asked her outright if she'd slept with anyone else and it didn't go over well. She's not aborting it or putting it up for adoption either. So, unless she miscarries, it looks like Georgie is indeed a father (Though it's also possible that Mandy will decide to raise the child on her own).
