* SwordfishSabre: When surrounded by hundreds of angry fish skeletons decided to get Smitty's hat back, Mr. Krabs snatches the skull of a swordfish and defeats every single one of them by using it as a cutlass.
* TruthInTelevision: Finds of old warehouses/storage units filled with boxes of a 'rare item' have happened before, and usually destroys the value it has in collectors circles.
* UnpronounceableAlias: Smitty Werbenjegarmanjensen. It's pronounced "Smitty Werben-yaygrrr-man-jensen".
* VillainousBreakdown: Mr. Krabs has one at the end after he finds the hat to be worthless.
* YouAndWhatArmy: "Only the army of the living dead".
