** WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic: In [[Recap/TheNostalgiaCriticS6E7 one episode]] Doug Walker made a list of the 11 best ''South Park'' episodes and put "Osama Bin Laden Has Farty Pants" at #1. He admitted it wasn't the funniest, smartest or best written episode, but "it came at a time when America needed "South Park". Doug explained that after the 9/11 attacks the episode helped to relieve tensions:

And whether it was a huge roar or just the tiniest little chuckle, everybody felt their spirits raised a little bit after seeing this episode. It's the best episode because it's the only episode that reminds us that we not only like South Park, but we surprisingly need it.''
