* {{Foreshadowing}}: During the scene where Zesty waits for her order, two tourists comment on how they hope the (newly refurbished) Tasty Treat can offer something with flavor for a change. While Zesty frames their opinion as being "[[ThisLoserIsYou lower class]]", the fact they're craving some ''good'' food is a symptom that Canterlot (and by extent its other restaurants) are in desperate need of breaking the mold, instead of pandering to Zesty's specific tastes.

Instead, Rarity uses her fame as a fashionista to bring other ponies over (thus [[Meaningfulecho catering]] to their wish to be convinced by some pony famous). This has actually caused Restaurant Row to become a frankly terrible place to eat, as none of the restaurant owners enjoy cooking and every restaurant is the same because that's what she likes while she doesn't give anything else a chance.

* PlainPalate: Zesty Gourmand, [[IronicName despite her name]], prefers food to be bland and served in small portions. Since she refuses to give any other kind of food a chance, the restaurants on Restaurant Row serve this kind of food so they can get three-hoof ratings from her.
