The detectives investigate the case of a young woman, Rachel McGarrett, who went missing after her younger sister Kristi was raped by Rachel's boyfriend Dan, who suffers from sexsomnia and attacked her accidentally. In an effort to locate Rachel, Benson and Stabler use her avatar from an online game that she was playing to find her. During the investigation, the detectives attempt to locate the body of Lauren Molby (Creator/FlorenciaLozano) who disappeared twenty-five years before and was one of Dan's victims. To their shock, they find Lauren still alive and after revealing the truth to her, she helps them get a confession.
