* TookALevelInDumbass: In the last paintball episode, Chang was {{The Dragon}} and even prepared a paint bomb. Here, he's a complete wuss with an extreme case of {{Chronic Backstabbing Disorder}}. Could also count as {{Good Is Dumb}}, as he starts out on the study group's side this time.
** Makes sense assuming that he's not skilled, rather he was brought into the game late and supplied by the Dean. Although considering he ''did'' tell the Dean he plays paintball 'three times a week'...
** Also possibly subverted in that whenever we see Chang, he's unarmed, has no ammo and happens to be at a massive disadvantage as opposed to being the well-equipped killing machine he was last year. Playing the coward and chronic-backstabbing disorder may have very well been the smartest ways out of his situation.
** As a matter of fact, Chang was introduced into the game with only two people left last year. There's absolutely no telling whether or not he was actually telling the truth, because he only had to worry about Jeff and Britta, who were in the same room.
** It's also worth noting that in the paintball game last year, Chang was still a confident, dominant teacher. Given the series of {{Humiliation Conga}}s and complete implosions his life has undergone since then, it's no wonder he'd be nowhere near as sharp now as he was back then.
