The first full-length episode featured three fights. The first undercart fight sees Kathie Lee Gifford and Creator/HowardStern against each other, after the latter supposedly bad-mouthed the former. The second undercart fight has Creator/PamelaAnderson seeking revenge against Creator/RuPaul after the latter had supposedly made a pass at the former's then-husband [[Music/MotleyCrue Tommy Lee]]. The third fight and main event has pop groups {{Music/Hanson}} and the Music/SpiceGirls fighting to be crowned the Most Annoying Band in the World.

Celebrity Deathmatch had two official pilots before being greenlit. The first pilot on Cartoon Sushi consisted of a short animation between Marilyn Manson and Charles Manson. The first full-length episode featured three fights: Howard Stern vs Kathie Lee Gifford; Pamela Anderson vs [=RuPaul=]; Hanson vs The Spice Girls.
