* GainaxEnding: Nobody's entirely sure as to what happened at the end of this episode. Somebody who works on the show [[https://www.reddit.com/r/ArcherFX/comments/2wbkcf/s06e05_i_think_i_missed_the_joke/ theorized]] (but didn't confirm) that Archer set up it up a prank. The idea of the prank would be that Archer arranged for the elevator to get stuck, and had redirected calls from Mallory's phone so they triggered the message to play on the elevator phone when someone tried to ring her. However, Archer didn't count on Kreiger setting a signal jammer above the elevator which caused the prank to backfire. So instead of them quickly trying to call Mallory for help, the joke playing out, then them presumably getting out[[note]]It's unclear how Archer would have planned to get out of the elevator in this prank. Possibly he left his number as an exception to the diversion on Mallory's phone. Alternatively, diverting her calls shouldn't prevent her receiving text messages. However, since Archer didn't seemed to realise the other ISIS staff were all gone, he may simply have assumed they could call someone else in the building for help.[[/note]], they were stuck.

* SeriousBusiness: Archer has no problem preparing to use Cyril's vest to soak up Pam's urine... until he's told it's cashmere garment. Archer stops immediately and actually, ''sincerely'', apologizes to him. When Lana wonders if it's non-absorbent, he simply responds:
