The Meths exclusively use clones to prevent it, allowing them to resleeve indefinitely, because they're just being sleeved into the same body each time.

* SleepingWithTheBosssWife: Kovacs is seduced by his trillionaire retainer Laurens Bancroft's wife Miriam and they have sex. [[spoiler:This creates tension in his relationship to Bancroft later in the series.]]

* ZeroPercentApprovalRating: Laurens Bancroft receives thousands of threats every year that Kovacs has to sort through. Of course Bancroft can afford to ignore them.

** Samir tells this to Ortega when they're sparing, who responds by kicking his ass.
