** He's a lemon-headed shadow demon with a design that looks horrifically out of place with the rest of the game's style, having blood-red eyes and ScaryTeeth with a grin so wide it practically looks carved open. For good measure, his teeth reside ''outside of his lips''. He also can sing in crystal clear English, instead of SpeakingSimlish like nearly every other character. The creepy thing just [[Non-StandardCharacterDesign doesn't belong]], plain and simple.

** His second song, "Winter Horrorland", is a wonderfully creepy ditty where he sings about serving up The Boyfriend in his own messed up version of a Christmas dinner. Instructions include slicing in a thousand pieces, baking till golden brown, boiling The Boyfriend to reduce his blood but not before taking out his eyes, soaking his hands in freezing water to soften up the skin (to make it easier to peel off, of course! He just ''loves'' singing about [[FlayingAlive skinning things]] in particular.), and finally [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking pairing him with brandy and plums]]. The Girlfriend isn't safe from this thing's threats either, with intentions of turning her inside out and ''burning her fingernails''. The Monster is very adept at the art of getting ToThePain with his intentions.

*** On the other hand, his "left" and "right" animations are from '''his''' perspective instead of the screen's directions, giving the impression that he's usurping the player's place. This sensation can be amplified by this fact: unlike the other characters, he's not looking at Boyfriend, but the screen ([[TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou or maybe the player behind]]).

*** The Monster's "up" and "down" animations in particular delve right into FacialHorror territory; the "up" animation shows his skull, or whatever he has inside that lemon head, pressing against his face from within, straining the skin grotesquely and making his already huge eyes bulge out even more. Meanwhile, the "down" animation has those charming bloody eyes visibly bulge outwards during the motion, looking ready to drop out of their sockets or burst outright, if not both.

* Week 6's third song, "Thorns", opens on a red void before fading in The Senpai's silhouette. We see and hear his bones twisting and cracking as he grunts in pain until light erupts from his mouth and eyes as his face ''bursts open'', revealing a crimson will-o-wisp with a startlingly human-looking face. The school's courtyard warps into a much more dark and foreboding background: the schoolgirls are gone, the sakura trees are void of leaves, and everything is a dark bluish-purple. "Spirit" then reveals he was trapped into the game by Daddy Dearest, that he is not the only one to suffer this fate, and he's going to take revenge... by taking Boyfriend's body, who keep in mind is completely innocent in all this.

Also discussed in the cleanup thread. "Roses" is more humorous than scary, and it absolutely pales in comparison to "Thorns".

* Week 6 may ''seem'' like a sickeningly fluffy dating sim rip at first glance, but its opponent, The Senpai, has some very dark revelations that flip the whole Week, and possibly ''the game itself'' on its head.
** The Senpai starts out like an average gentleman {{Bishonen}} - complete with BishieSparkle and [[ChickMagnet several girls head over heels for him]] - challenging you for your girlfriend in "A serenade between gentlemen." Once the scene for his second song loads up, you're treated to a sudden sound effect akin to taking damage in an old school RPG, followed by The Senpai looking ''absolutely furious''. His entourage of ladies also change their expressions from gawking to looking on in shock and disgust. The Senpai's MoodWhiplash of switching from a cushy pretty boy persona to being crude and abrasive over losing just ''one'' song is jarring enough to catch many people off guard.

** His first song, "Monster" from Week 2 (no longer DummiedOut as of the Week 7 update), puts his knowledge of the English language to very horrific use. The lyrics are about wanting to gouge The Boyfriend's eyes out, drain his blood and give it to werewolves, skin him alive, and leave him in a burning dungeon while making a broth out of The Girlfriend. Making matters even freakier is how goofy the music sounds in comparison to the grim lyrics.

* Taking a break from the supernatural horror (well, for the most part), Week 7 features The Boyfriend and The Girlfriend sneaking into a war zone being occupied by The Tankmen, and summarily being captured. While in this setting they're no longer post-apocalyptic military remnants, they certainly ''act'' as barbaric as that would imply. The entire week is the Boyfriend being essentially forced to perform for the amusement of a group of gun-toting maniacs while The Girlfriend is held at gunpoint, and John Captain makes no effort to hide the fact that win or lose, he's just gonna have them gunned down on the spot the moment he stops having fun... which takes all of two songs.
--> '''Captain''': God. Effing. Dammit. Well played, you little ''shit''. But this is ''war!'' And in war, people '''''DIE!''''' Men, get ready to fire! Sorry, no prom for ''you'' this year! [[EvilLaugh HAHAHA!]]
** And before he can give the kill order, Pico [[BigDamnHeroes swoops in to save the day]]... by pistol-whipping an unnamed soldier so hard his face caves in, then blowing the other soldier who may or may not be Steve's brains out in typically brutal fashion. Perhaps the most distressing part is that in between the two events, we get a brief hint that the Girlfriend's DissonantSerenity isn't simply due to her being [[BrainlessBeauty stupid]]... but because given her demonic heritage, she could have easily taken care of the soldiers all by herself, and the way she gets a red TwinkleInTheEye while her skin briefly gains a purple tinge heavily implies she was ''this'' close [[LetsGetDangerous to dropping her facade]].

Perhaps the most distressing part is that inbetween the two events, we get a brief hint that The Girlfriend's not calm just because she's stupid... but because she inherited her parents' powers.

** Its new song, "Winter-Horrorland", is a wonderfully creepy ditty where it sings about serving up The Boyfriend in its own messed up version of a Christmas dinner. Instructions include slicing in a thousand pieces, baking till golden brown, boiling The Boyfriend to reduce his blood but not before taking out his eyes, soaking his hands in freezing water to soften up the skin (to make it easier to peel off, of course! It just ''loves'' singing about [[FlayingAlive skinning things]] in particular.), and finally [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking pairing him with brandy and plums]]. The Girlfriend isn't safe from this thing's threats either, with intentions of turning her inside out and ''burning her fingernails''. The Lemon Monster is very adept at the art of getting ToThePain with its intentions.

** Week 6's third song, "Thorns", opens on a red void before fading in The Senpai's silhouette. We see and hear his bones twisting and cracking as he grunts in pain until light erupts from his mouth and eyes as his face ''bursts open'', revealing a crimson will-o-wisp with a startlingly human-looking face. The school's courtyard warps into a much more dark and foreboding background: the girls are gone, the sakura trees are void of leaves, and everything is a dark bluish-purple. "Spirit" then reveals he was trapped into the game by Daddy Dearest, and is not the only one to suffer this fate, and he's going to take revenge... by taking Boyfriend's body, who keep in mind is completely innocent in all this.

** Its first, currently DummiedOut song, "Monster", puts its knowledge of the English language to very horrific use.

** After beating the Mom and Dad in the Christmas-themed Week 5's second song "Eggnog", the screen abruptly [[SmashCut smashes to black]] with a startlingly loud sound. When the background fades back in, [[MoodWhiplash you're treated to the image pictured above]]: the Christmas tree covered in guts and adorned with a severed head in The Girlfriend's likeness as a star topper. Then we zoom back to find the snow and most of the walls painted red, heavily implying a massacre took place, the culprit being none other than this lemon-headed ''thing'', complete with an ArtEvolution that makes each of its poses twist and contort its face in disturbingly grotesque ways.
