* If Dewey had told Young! Donald and Della about the future, what exactly could have happened? Could Della have ended up facing an even worse fate than the one she already had? Would Donald be the would to vanish? Would something even worse happen? Honestly, it is for the best that the kid twins stopped him when they did.

* The whole concept of The Other Bin: It's a place where Scrooge, a man we've seen leave clearly dangerous artifacts just lying around his garage, keeps things he considers too dangerous to be exposed to the world. And we only see a few of the containment cells. Who knows what else he's got in there?

* The Ghost of Christmas Past was planning to [[AndIMustScream strand Scrooge in the past]] simply because [[IJustWantToHaveFriends he was tired of everyone he helped henceforth spending Christmases with their families instead of him]].
** It doesn't help that the Ghost of Christmas Past was voice by the same guy who voices Wander [[Wander over Yonder]] and Fix-it Felix [[Wreck-It Ralph]]

* On a couple occasions, Cousin Fethry starts exhibiting some creepy behavior that makes it look like he's going to snap and [[AdultFear attack Huey and Dewey]]. Considering he's been looking after the sea laboratory for ''four years'' by himself, it definitely comes off as GoMadFromTheIsolation. Don't worry; he's harmless.

* The Ghost of Christmas Past was planning to [[AndIMustScream strand Scrooge in the past]] simply because [[DisproportionateRetribution he was tired of people]] not realizing [[IgnoredEpiphany the true meaning of Christmas]].

* On a couple occasions, Cousin Fethry starts exhibiting some creepy behavior that makes it look like he's going to snap and [[AdultFear attack Huey and Dewey]]. Considering he's been looking after the sea laboratory for ''four years'' by himself, it definitely comes off as GoMadFromTheIsolation. [[spoiler: Don't worry; he's harmless.]]

* Webby kidnapping the triplets to interrogate them (shrouded in shadow the entire time). Louie even starts crying! Luckily, it becomes funny immediately after.

* The Terrafirmians themselves, bulky {{Rock Monster}}s with GlowingEyesOfDoom, chasing after the heroes. The NightmareFuel factor completely vanishes when they step into the light, revealing a much cuter appearance, and their conversation shows that they chased the heroes out of curiosity, not malice.

* In the temple of Ithaquack, Dewey and Webby encounter Charybdis, a multi-eyed, tentacled monster with MoreTeethThanTheOsmondFamily, who grabs them and attempts to devour them. Again, the horror gets completely deflated when the monster learns they're looking for a different artifact, not the one he guards, drops them and politely gives them directions.

* Huey has an honest-to-goodness [[FreakOut panic attack]] when his scuba mask gets fogged up underwater.

* Something about the StepfordSmiler townspeople's behavior feels pretty off, {{foreshadowing}} that they are not what they seem to be.

* If the plant controlled all the townsfolk, who cooked their feast at the restaurant?

* The town's flower is a giant ManEatingPlant attempting to devour the Duck family, and the townspeople were puppets on its vines.

* He also shows another rare instance of being a true threat when he throws Webby into the storming ocean. It's heavily implied that she would have drowned if Louie wasn't there to pull her back onto the boat.

* Launchpad was ''terrified'' by the movie they saw in the beginning of the episode. It definitely sounds like an R-Rated film, featuring people turning into mole-monsters and then getting killed by [[ChainsawGood a chainsaw]].

** Also one of the few times in the series we've seen Webby look genuinely afraid, after Louie pulls her back on the boat, she's just frozen in horror. Its clear the experience shook her and fully grasps she could have died. Seeing someone who regularly approaches danger with enthusiasm like this just feels wrong.

* Glomgold [[DissonantSerenity casually]] snapping all his [[Main/Fingore dislocated fingers]] back into place ''on-camera''. Louie is understandably freaked out.

* He also shows another rare instance of being a true threat when he throws Webby into the storming ocean.
