** Speaking of ''Film/TheDarkKnightRises'', there's Bane's voice to some people. His voice is full of VocalDissonance and is quite silly, but at the same time it can still roll into a horrifyingly unexpected variation that utilizes {{Narm}} to it's advantage: the Narm of it all makes you have to tell yourself that Bane is an AxCrazy KnightTemplar with a [[FauxAffablyEvil false politeness]] that can really catch you off guard if you don't look past the Narm.

* ''Film/FirstBlood'':
** Rambo's increasingly deranged behaviour is vaguely pathetic and funny, dressing himself in a tarpaulin, building a fort out in the forest and spearing wild pigs for food, and screaming in confused, inarticulate misery when he gets caught in a pool full of rats. In much of the movie, he comes across more like a child playing pretend in the woods. It actually works, as part of the movie's theme about aggrieved masculinity - Rambo's macho theatrics don't come across as the manliness of adulthood but as a regression into a realm of childish fantasy. Considering how young he would have been when he was fighting in the war, this has a real FridgeHorror about it.
** The movie ends with Creator/SylvesterStallone, a DullSurprise actor with a speech impediment, having to give a dramatic monologue about having bits of his exploded comrade all over him, before bursting into tears and grabbing his father figure who pats him and wraps him in a blanket. It is as funny as it sounds, but the ugly indignity works as part of what is essentially a VillainousBreakdown from a man who keeps ruining his life and knows it, as well as the end point to his regression into childhood.

* Some of ''Franchise/TheMuppets'' movies (Mostly the films, occasionally the ''Series/TheMuppetShow'') would try to do action scenes with the titular Muppets. During scenes in which they attack people or are sent flying, it looks like they ''threw'' the muppets across the room. It makes some of them quite hilarious, especially when they tackle actual people.

** ''Film/TheForceAwakens'': Hux's speech is filled with ChewingTheScenery and is rather amusing, yet it works for a number of reasons. For example, Hux builds up to his outburst, beginning softly, as if he is genuinely growing more and more incensed, Domhnall Gleeson doing everything he can to really sell the performance and how the speech is actually very similar to real world dictators like UsefulNotes/AdolfHitler and UsefulNotes/BenitoMussolini. And of course it looks ridiculous to us. It's not meant for us. Hitler looks silly in his speeches, but to those exposed to Nazi propaganda for years, it was memorable and powerful. The First Order is much the same way, way more visibly than the Galactic Empire. Oh, and the overly dramatic speech proceeds [[spoiler:Starkiller Base destroying a whole star system, with the score by Creator/JohnWilliams making the moment very beautiful and haunting.]] These elements make the whole scene come off as silly, but authentic and it's hard not to get sucked in.
