Long Title has been disambiguated

* LongTitle: The Other Wiki calls one of their compilation albums ''Most of the Remixes'', but the full proper title is ''Most of the remixes we've made for other people over the years except for the one for Einstürzende Neubauten because we lost it and a few we didn't think sounded good enough or just didn't fit in length-wise, but including some that are hard to find because either people forgot about them or simply because they haven't been released yet, a few we really love, one we think is just ok, some we did for free, some we did for money, some for ourselves without permission and some for friends as swaps but never on time and always at our studio in Ghent.''

However, Soulwax is best known for the extensive quantity of popular remixes they have created. They have remixed everyone from {{Music/The Rolling Stones}} to {{Music/Justice|Band}} to {{Music/MGMT}}. They have done this under both their traditional name and their alter ego, 2 Many DJ's (2manydjs).

Soulwax is also known for "Radio Soulwax," a website that broadcasts their remixes mixed together as a [[DoingItForTheArt 24/7 ad-free internet radio station]]. This station also features an odd visual component based on the album covers of the original records.

This page sorely needed improvement, and fortunately crosswicking can give it a good start

* {{Alternative Rock}}: (their earlier BalladOfX: "A Ballad to Forget"
* BandOfRelatives: Formed by brothers Stephen and David Dewaele, with the accompaniment of a couple more musicians.
* DateRape: The music video for "E-Talking" is about a club with each of party-goers under the effect of a drug for each letter of the alphabet. R and S correspond to groggy-looking girl under the effects of Rohypnol and a shifty-looking guy on Steroids that is claiming he is going to take her home.
* DaysOfTheWeekSong: Their 1999 song "Saturday".
* InDaClub: The video for "E Talking" is a subversion - ''everyone's'' on drugs from literally A-Z and the clubbers cover a spectrum of old/young/attractive/not so much, but because of the drugs even the most generically pretty among them don't look so great.

Belgian rock band Soulwax was formed by [[BandOfRelatives singer Stephen Dewaele and his guitarist brother David]] along with bassist Stefaan Van Leuven and drummer Piet Dierickx.
