* EverythingsCreepierWithCockroaches: In one segment, Nano has a cockroach trapped under a bowl, but is too terrified of it to lift the bowl to kill it (or let someone else do so).

** It turns out that almost anyone can can get hit with this. Two big contenders are Nakanojou (in addition to his complex about his hair, bad things continually happen to him) and Annaka (what with the universe almost seeming to hate her as much as Yuuko in terms of the weird stuff that gets thrown at her.)

** Yuuko fending off a mosquito infestation in her room late at night.
** The argument in episode 14 is [[JustForPun too epic for words]].
** Mio [[OneHitKill one-hit KO-ing everyone]] (including a policeman and ''Sasahara's goat'') over her drawings, as seen in Episode 16.
** The entire show practically runs on this.

** Episode 17 gives us the [[SilenceIsGolden silent]] Tower Of Cards sequence. Granted, putting the last two cards on a tower without the rest falling is extremely nerve-racking anyway.
** Episode 19's Igo Soccer showdown between Takasaki-sensei and Makoto.
** Also the high jump. UseYourHead indeed...
** Episode 20 has Yukko accidentally stabbing herself with a pen causes her to unleash a massive shout that pierces the solar system.
** Episode 21: Mio vs. the airship crew.
*** The beginning episode has Takasaki-sensei hitting Yuuko with about [[NoKillLikeOverkill 50]] RepeatCut{{s}}.
*** Also they're a fly-spray that fires like a gun.
** Yuuko and Mio's chase scene in Episode 25.
** Episode 26: That's one tough pumpkin!

* HonestAxe: Mai pulls a rather insane variation with fish sculptures.

* SomethingCompletelyDifferent: The sketches involving the Fey Kingdom zeppelin. They're actually unusually long and elaborate {{Imagine Spot}}s of Yuuko about Mio's wooden hair ties. [[OrIsIt Or are they?]]

** In Episode 22, Misato's little sister tries to hit Mio's big sister with a shinai, only to accidentally hit the assistant kendo instructor (who just happened to appear at the right moment), knocking him off of the bicycle he was riding. Later, when Fecchan tries to make the best of having dropped her ice cream by claiming that she can still eat it after cleaning it off, the bike (and the instructor) come by and ruin what was left of her ice cream.

** There few "Gamelan" poster which is Indonesian traditional instrument

** And of course there is the occasional "Douiu koto?" (What do you mean?)
