''Change 123'' (pronounced "change hi-fu-mi," after the central character(s)) is a {{Shounen}} (yes, really) fighting manga that manages to do something different with the whole "[[SplitPersonality girl has different personalities]]" thing.

** And, you forgot the biggest one - [[KamenRider Kamen Raider]].

** A more gory (and "semi-accidental") one happens off-screen to a {{yakuza}} member in Chapter 40 at Hibiki's hands - in the words of his colleagues, [[HighOctaneNightmareFuel "right through the dumplings and into the meat."]]. Even Motoko/Hibiki's consummate BloodKnight father, Tatsuya, is BlueWithShock at the sight and sees it as too horrible of a punishment.

* LongLostSibling: [[spoiler:Well, more like Long Lost Second Cousin, but it's still the reason why Ginga is now staying with Kousukegawa.]]
* LukeIMightBeYourFather: A fair part of the series is devoted to the answer. Granted, all 3 men are her fathers (by upbringing), but in the end, it's shown that [[spoiler:Tatsuya is Motoko's biological father, but her family line has also crossed with Jin and Takezou's as well.]]

* MightyWhitey: Not actually white in this case, but [[spoiler:Hino]] plays the trope rather straight after [[spoiler:going to the Gigi village and besting their greatest warriors, earning the title of Gadam.]] Manages to avoid most of the UnfortunateImplications the trope normally carries, however.

* ResignationsNotAccepted:[[spoiler: The organization Mokoto's mother worked for. The only way a person leaves is by dying. Not even Mokoto's mother living outside the compound spared her from missions. It was actually being called in for a job which led to the accident that caused her death.]]

* InnocentInnuendo: Hino remarks about how much she likes "chinosuke", a type of Okinawan food. However, the word "chinosuke" sound pretty close to the Japanese word for male genitalia. The guys in the room [[HehHehYouSaidX react as you'd expect]].

* KarmaHoudini: [[spoiler: Mokoto's mother's organization of spies and assassins. While they are beaten down by Kosuke's allies, they all get to live and continue with their jobs and no real punishments for attacking Kosuke and want to drug him sohe loses his recent memories at best, at worst complete amnesia. And then there's them not accepting Mokoto's mother wanting to resign and called her in which lead to the car accident that killed her.]]

** As was pointed out in a forum thread here, Kosukegawa has gotten noticeably taller since the start of the series, although no one's mentioned it in-story.

* WhamEpisode: Starting in Chapter 48, [[spoiler:when Zero takes over, nearly kills Sora and almost chokes Kosukegawa because he tries to stop her.]] Then, in Chapter 49, [[spoiler:we finally get to see how her mother died... and Motoko's personality disappears, leaving behind only Hifumi and Zero.]]
